C2C SVN Changelog

Updates:

-Removed the Combat Workers and Normal Worker Combat Strength until after V24 release, at Koshling's request.
-Added the Menalamba, Uighur Knight, and Swazi Tracker
-Fixed the Early Skirmisher

@Dancing Hoskuld

Whats the tag for Prickly Pear resource? I am still getting an error.

I have not added it back in yet as I forgot what it was called in Dune Wars. I am testing it now and should have it back in in an hour or so. Along with Cocoa. I am also looking at adding a couple of sea improvements by the same guy who made the jungle camp graphic I posted.

BTW I have fixed the civics errors with apple farm but not loaded them yet.

Update
- Civics now refer to ORCHARD rather than APPLE_Farm
- Prickly Pear and Cocoa resources added

Edit Update
- Fix Poultry problem with the bonus improvements not set.

Here is an idea I have for improving focused period for creating each version.
You already have a freeze period.
Why not create a/an:
Idea period - where new ideas are created/discussed,
Mod period where a chosen mod's content is discussed and integrated as a group or individually, and/or maybe even split the Freeze period into a:
Feature playing period -for a new version, and a focused
Bug squashing period -where a new version is made stable for a release. Just ideas that could improve C2C, I would love to know what you think.

You could also untie new version from strickly being a monthly affair, the SVN version is already dynamic, stable versions could be less buggy releases with major new features that would encourage new players to stay. Time and Time again I see people loving the idea of C2C but getting turned off by the rapid progression and creation of new bugs with new changes and versions that are too buggy. Maybe a bi-monthly or tri-monthly released versions would give the bigger new features like nomads, and multi-maps time to gel. (I put this idea here because it is relevant to both C2C versions and SVN progression)

Please let me know what you all honestly think?

I agree that we need a bit more time between releases really. We need a week where we can break saves and get in last minute changes, then a week to debug, then release. These two phases could begin once we all feel we've reached an appropriate breaking point in all of our immediate plans.

I wouldn't want it to get much more restrictive than that for SVN modding though.

Just one humble opinion anyhow.

It shouldn't be restrictive, just coordinated. The rest of the time should be unstructured to allow people to do what they please. The periods I suggested are more of focus and coming together to get people on the same page to make progress. You could make a joint decision to proceed when major things are ready to move.

Update
- Cocoa resources added

attachment.php

You have mixed up the 2.

Cocoa = Chocolate
Coca = Cocaine

Right now you have Cocoa with the Chocolate name Chocolate, Chocolate icon/button but the Cocaine graphic. Please make both with the correct graphic/button/name combination. Thanks! :goodjob:

Note that the Chocolate graphic is from the History Rewritten mod.

You should put this kind of stuff in the ideas/suggestions thread,, also ALL new techs and buildings HAVE to go through Hydro first, he is the ideas guy:

BUT: this is the regular modiki:

Best thing to do is look at one of my OLD modules, that still are on a server, dont know which ones are anymore, i have easy to make buildings/flags/LH/ etc all in modular format, its like he said it best to COPY/PASTE them and then change what you want to. But in answer to your question, dont use anything The_Lopez has, it way outdated, and needs a C++ person and a python person to add his stuff.

Update
- Update graphics for Peyote. To me it seems different to the barrel cactus so I suppose I could put the barrel cactus back as a desert feature. :sigh:

@SO please delete the old one first.
