C2C - UEM - Ultimate-Earth-Map 100% MOD and SVN update compatible by Pit2015

I'd be willing to bet he's got severe immediate gold problems now that you plundered him. But I wouldn't mind taking a look at the save.

After new SVN update the inca AI looks fixed he started to build archers now. Treasure still not giving gold.

How are you liking your 20,000 turn game now? And at 28 cities vs the AI's avg of 8-9 is this game already won? I think it is.

So you going to rename your scenario to Pit2015's Caveman2 Ancient Experience?! :mischief::lol:
 
Very good now and runs pretty stable now. :thumbsup: Long way to win... you forgot the scale, and dont forget i am on deity, its more about surviving not winning, well i have about 30 citys but i am down to 35% research and there is more room for +50 citys alone in north america. And i can only finance my many citys now with plundering wars, otherwise i will be down to 0% research. 37 or 38 civs still on map now, and they expanding strongly. I just cant kill em all now, no chance, maybe in modern era. Also egypt needs now only 2 turns more then i to research the same tech as me. So i am a superpower, but far away from controling the entire world... the question here is how long will i be able to keep my lead position and to win if i do at all i need at least 10.000 more turns. :) Hardest game to win ever now... russia and other civs expanding good and becoming super powers too... will be a very interesting game for a long time and even if i am the total superpower sometime, it will be hard to win. (Scenario is only won by destroying all other civs) And now as superpower i cant just destroy strong fortified and defended citys easily and i dont have enouth troops for all fronts and areas. Also alot of problems raising, and as you expand alot revolutions will come in hardly sooner or later. You need maybe 100 turns to get a army to attack a far away civ, troop movement is not easy now and more realistic on this scale, real and realistic military planning needed now. Time for you to show what you can do and start a long game with my scenario, so you can test your real skill. :thumbsup:

I spend roughly 6- 8 hours a day playing a Blitz game and I'm only up to 300+ turns. No Thanks! to any Game that has 20,000 turns. Talk about nothing but click turn click turn games! UGH!!!
 
Are you using Win for Losing? It would certainly be giving benefit to those players lagging behind.

Set up is hard enouth, large scale + many civs = real challenge. Ultimate experience now, you build a civ to stand the test of time, not start every few days a new game. Like the guy that played one civ game for 10 years. :goodjob: On this large scale its like a civ that is behind it will get its chance if two large civs have a long large scale war, all hard also with some civs behind. Pretty realistic like there are countrys on real earth that are behind but they are not outknoked. Also you can decide not to destroy the world but try to keep peace up. You can use your forces to play world police and save attacked civs to keep the world politics and countrys/civs intact. Real global political and strategic system up now on this scale, i need my carriers soon to keep russia and china away from expanding to mutch and attacking my friends. :) Who can win this on eternity + deity will be the pro for ever, i am still surviving after 6 trys only with a good start and we will see how long i can hold my position as world leader. 38 civs lets say about 5 citys per = achtual 190 enemy citys agains my 28 now. :crazyeye: Here you dont get every 2 turns a new tech or unit, you have to use what you got a long time and survive before you get better stuff, techs are realy worth alot now. No rush through game... more a time and starategic simulation on a large scale. Its like not buying always a new game, its like master a good one really.

@Joe, well then try marathon + deity if you want a real challenge. :thumbsup: But beware its not for casual players or loosers that play under deity. :goodjob:

Marathon now is the old Eternity of my GS system, 8000 turns. Tried that, done that, still don't have time for that.

I'm trying to get into the late game Eras to see how stability is. And that eats up enough of my time. Even on a 1000 turn GS. Not too many of the Modders can say this on any where near a regular basis.

The most active modders are all about adding new stuff. Not game testing into the late Eras. Has always been that way with C2C. Some one has to slog thru the 929 techs thru 15 Eras to find out if all these "new ways" and "gizmos" actually work or not. :rolleyes:
 
Gaming longer = finding more bugs and problems in the details. :thumbsup: Everyone as he wants, for fast testing to find major issues yep shorter games may be better. I will continue as long as my game runs and i can and i am still alive, ok letz go and hunt down these lame bugs. :) Late game should work when i arrive there. :goodjob: Then i report the missed bugs there. :) Getting closer to classical era now.

That's what makes you invaluable to the modding team. Your feedback and opinion hold a lot more weight than that of the random Joe, they can't outshine the real Joe at actual in-game experience. ^^
 
BUG/PROBLEM: Small problem, totem pole restored message, always at reloading a savegame and turning one time its restored, only on loading a savegame and then after the first turn message comes up. Building dont works correctly.

Yeah that's a bit weird that. Civic requirement buildings can be funny like that. After a new tag for prerequisites I might be able to clean that up some.
 
Last SVN update "Savegame format not compatible" can you fix it? My latest savegame is added. In the SVN update there was a file called savegamewrapper or something like this added or changed...

No. not only unfixable, it was intentional because you would have continued to play on with a very badly corrupted save. Sorry but start a new game or stay stuck at the previous update.

Yeah. And you can just view log to find the revision number that caused your issue and when you update to revision, just go to the revision number just before the problematic one. Notes on the revisions can be seen in the log so you can tell which one purposefully broke compatibility. But you're probably still going to struggle with some indexing problems, which is why we broke compat and demanded new games be started after that point.
 
Well i want to continue my savegame on my own risk then, so what have i to change to still be able to use my savegame and still possible to update with SVN? Code/xml to change?

Keep SVN 10011 dll.
 
No i want to still update always to newest SVN as long as my save will work. :thumbsup:
