    44 civilisations and a huge world map is going to play like sludge on all but the fastest machines, I'm afraid.

    Thanx Thunderbrd, look into it when it is released, feel free to include it into next Caveman 2 Cosmos update/release if you like.

    Arakhor, speed works fine, i played 2700 turns first game. Have 8GB ram, SSD HDD and normal quad core prozessor. Map is for a very long game, turns quit fast.

    That's good then, but I think the SSD is really helping you out there.

    Also post any suggestions you have here, i think about and get it into the scenario and map.

    There is a bug at starting the scenario, you can ignore that, scenario should work, will not affect the normal gameplay, but any suggestions?

    If you start a new game with this scenario there is an error message with the BUG revolution system line 273... something like this on start. I think its caused from the egypt civ... no big deal, scenario works, but any suggestions how to fix it?

    Not until later in the game at least. Huge is actually quite a nice map size and we havn't had an HEM yet so this is quite cool.

    Given that much of the turn processing length seems to come from unit spam and city properties, I think that people without an SSD will find this map bogging down by the Classical era at the latest. Don't get me wrong, I like playing Huge maps with 20 civs and so on, but I've never been able to get anywhere close with C2C.

    I'm testing limits with the game I've got going. I'm trying to see when it really gets slow.

    C2C - Ultimate World Map V1.1 released!
    Changes in C2C - Ultimate World Map V1.1:

    Some civilizations getting killed by neanderthals to early because they have no unit that can compete with the neanderthals, every civ starts now wit 2 clubmans and 2 spiked clubmans, that should give the capital city enouth defense at start. And others civs harder to attack early now.

    Some misplaced plots deleted and changed on map.

    Some civilizations still starting at to low health, so they cant grow the first 600 turns, so the palace in the capital city gets now +15 health +5 health now, was +10 health. Now all civs should be able to grow at start, making the AI not fall behind to mutch. Thats why you use the file NationalWonders_CIV4BuildingInfos.xml overwrite it again in your folder ...Beyond the Sword\MODS\Caveman2Cosmos\Assets\XML\Buildings (Backup your original C2C files first).

    Some starting city names fixed to more historic location names.

    Polinesia, Jivaro and Australian civ got 1 plot land more in starting city and 1 corn resource more, more fair start and better possibility to grow from start for these civs.

    Growing for the AI works fine now.

    Canberra renamed to Sydney. Better historic location.

    Palace adds now 100% defense to the starting capital city of all civs, hopefully enouth so new civs dont get killed easily by neanderthals or other players at start.

    Suez channel possibility added, the owner of alexandria or the plot owner will control now the suez channel.

    Galapagos enlarged to give the Jivaro civ the possibility to build more than 1 city at start.

    Tahiti enlarged to give the Polinesia civ the possibility to build more than 1 city at start.

    CIV4TechInfos file updated to latest C2C build.

    C2C - Ultimate World Map V2.0 released!
    Changes in C2C - Ultimate World Map V2.0 SVN update compatible:

    UWM 2.0 is now fully compatible with C2C research times are switched back to normal and defined in the C2C MOD now.

    Make sure to play on Deity and Eternal game speed, otherwise you get techs to fast.

    Only 2 files needed now, the Ultimate World Map V2.0 and NationalWonders_CIV4BuildingInfos

    NationalWonders_CIV4BuildingInfos will increase the defense of your capital city / your palace by 200% that is needed because the neanderthals will kill some civs to early and it is harder to destroy a starting civ for you and the AI and is needed on this earth large map. The SVN will merge the file if updated and your defense bonus should stay in whn you update.

    Some Map fixes.
