C3C PBEM : Edesse - Medieval scenario-based PBEM

Don't be afraid :D We have sent only one longship in your direction purely for exploration and establishing contacts :) . It already entered Mediterranian and established contact with Cordovan Emirat. Meanwhile I am busy at home: captured/razed some cities in Europe, cleansed Northern seas from Rus presence, captured Seguna and now negotiating peaceful surrender of another island city. By the way is EliitMees always so silent or is it just me?

The Byzantine Empire welcomes foreign merchants, but not invaders...

GPS.

Still waiting on the impending arrival of the Viking tourists too lovely Byzantium...

Relax Theo :D I am not sure but I might have to pay a visit to the Southern France first before heading in your direction. I promise to leave the most agressive and filthy part of the crew there so they wouldn't ruin your first impression on the Vikings :)

Played and sent to RomeotheMonk.

The game crashes whenever I take Random fan's peace deal.
Not making peace kinda sucks, so I want the peace and the game to conitinue

Hmm we could try at first to sign simple peace treaty this turn and next turn I will send the second part of the offer. Maybe it won't crash this way?

Turn sent on. I think the problem is that it showed up as 2 peace treaties, and double goodies. I think it was trying to resolve the differences of peace happening twice that locked it up.
Sorry for the Delay, I forgot I had it. Honest.

Between two human players everything is possible :) By the way fearless Viking sailors already established contacts with everyone but Byzantine! This fact is highly amusing considering that Byzantine is one of the 3 civs in this game that has ships! Vikings, skilled in sailing, are very curiuos to take a look on these fearsome Dromons that they have heard so much from other civs, but they are yet to met one!

I've been building mostly on land. I'd like this thing called an infrastructure. That, and cities are built on land, not on the seas. I'll see what I can do to show you a dromon ;)

Attention!! Attention!! The Vikings :viking: lost control of one of their ship. Its crew traded some fine wine in Sicily and now is drunk, armed and very dangerous. I repeat they are drunk, armed and very dangerous!!

I thought that Vikings were always drunk, armed and very dangerous...

My Dromon(s) ;) will be summoned home to direct thes vikings to somewhere where they may sleep off their drunken stupor before being overwhelmed by the glory of Byzantium. :king:

Turn played and sent to RomeotheMonk.

No sign of these drunken Vikings--or some sober ones as of yet...

New turn started

Cordovans have passed Poitiers and they did not see Charles Martel. Was he only a legend to scare away the little kids ?
