C3C PBEM : "Ilipa" - Rise of Rome scenario (level : newbies)

Rick say to me something about an archer that is healing. He acused me of cheating.
Or its a game bug or he didnt saw that there were 2 archers: 1 veteran and 1 regular. And if you atack the first one (the veteran) and it lose heath the 2nd going to be atacked and be the first.

Dont know if you guys know about this issue. If yes please post. And really is a strange way of cheating anyway. Who could cheat such as visible? Which trainer do this and only for one unit!!! I'm really currios and maybe Rick will provide us some screen shots for this.

I never cheated in my ladder games... how can i cheat in this games where i want to find fun... and cheating is not fun. Cheating may corrupt the save also as we all know. I play this game from it's begining (even it was single). I play it over 6 years .... I love this game. How could i cheat?

I wait for public apolagies from Rick.

I didnt acused you public of cheating, ive privately emailed you, so that this wont be a big deal.
I know about the archer trait, i use it myself a lot, but as you also know 1 archer can only fire once against the attacker, if more attackers other units wont be affected by it.
As for cheating, there are many trainers here in civ foruns, one or the most popular is power bar.

Power bar is a memory trainer, what this means? It can make a particular unit, chossen by you, to heal itself to infinite, hell, you can conquer the whole world in a turn with a warrior using this program, and it stays a special unit till you stop it from beiing one, meaning it will still be special in other players turns. There are other programs who can do similar things.

I have no problem with you Adyyc, i just have problems with an archer that its health bar keeps lowering and in the second later pumping up again and again, so ill trust its a bug.

I dont have much PBEM experience so this things are possible of happening?? Probably so. My apologies if i wrongly accused you, i just want to have fun to.

Okey Rick. I understand. I kniw just about science and money trainers. Tested them in opens two times. They always do OOS. I have little PBEM experience and i didnt know about that Power bar health. Who invented those trainers? Is not fun anyway to play with trainers. Is boring.

GPS Turn 6

Traded wine with Egypt for funds, tried with Celts but they´ve already been extorsed of their precious currency, no doubt by their warmongering roman neighbours. Grrr.

I have a question also: By the time we can make alliances, Rome will just make an alliance with all the AIs against me, and ill be hopless to do anything, just because he will play his turns first then me.
Sure, i can wait the 20 turns it takes to pass, but then again, hell just renew is alliances again and again with the AIs and will be in War till the end of the game.

As posted by Loulong: No military alliance (but trade is possible) from turn 2 to 10. Alliances are then allowed from turn 11 onwards.

This rule favours those who play their turns first, leaving no manouver for others.

I have a sugestion: No more than ONE military alliance against a Civ, by this i mean, you must chose one ally against one enemy, but you can have another ally against a different enemy, providing that the new allie cant attack other "ancient" enemies bending the rule.

Atacked chartage city and the folowing casualities were made:
I losed one regular archer, one legion, and one health from another legion. As a result a decided not to atack this turn.
Chargatge losed one regular numidian after it was veteran.
Traded with rich egypt for money. I got from them 79 gold. :)
Sent diplo to macedon.

Yes they cant made too much damage. But they can slow you a litle if they are near you and if you are at war with them. In special Goths and Celts.

I don't think such a rule is necessary. Alliances with AI usually don't last longer than 7 or 8 turns and they are in no condition to do any real damage.

Dont forget we playing Monarch level, they not thaaat bad, besides i dont think a 3 human alliance versus another is fair as well.

GPS Turn 7

Sunked regular roman galley near Caralis, my galley got redlined but was promoted to veteran :), did nothing to the invading force as they are still too strong for us. Spotted a sea brige of 3 galleys made by rome between corsega and italy mainland, very clever enemies, but we will get them, time will be my allie.
