C3C PBEM : "Pydna" - Rise of Rome scenario (level : newbees)

where's Pydna ? I got a GPS from Dafoui on Friday. Haven't heard anything since then.
 
Wise Man had mistakenly sent me the file. I told him about it and he responded by asking me if I had sent it on. Unfortunately, I hadn't thought of that and had already deleted it. I've already told him but haven't heard from him.

none has answered my question about razing rules. This (quite long now) pause could be a good moment to do it ?


Anyways I didn't write my report for turn 19.
The evil roman legions, not happy with reconquering Messana, thought to pay a visit to Carthaghinian on the hills of Marsala. To ensure a proper welcome to the neighbors, General Hannibal Barca has sent the newly trained troops to meet romans. And so it happened that they saw for the first time an Elephant. Too bad none survived to tell the story :lol:

we hope romans enjoy the neighboring and look forward for more such meetings... maybe in Messana next time ? :goodjob:
 
killed Greek hoplite after being assaulted with his own catapults! hahahaha
 
Minor fights this turn in Sicily, only wounded men from both sides. The troops move in Sicily like on a chess board. What will the Wise roman leader choose ? Attack Syracuse and risk Messana, or retreat and hold positions ?

I'm waiting to know the answer, meanwhile I'm sorry to notice that the new roman legions cut into my Numidiands like a knife through the butter...

Hannibal retakes Messana.
2 roman galleys sank around Sicily.
 
Persia continues fortify units in its cities along the macedonian border. We will not die!

PS can we move this game a little faster? plsssssssssssssssss
 
the ideal would be at least 1 turn every two days. Currently we're playing a turn at an average of four days... a bit too much :/
 
things seem to be speeding up a little... thanks to wise man
 
it's great that everyone has been playing for this long and hopefully it will continue. in a few turns the might of the Persian army will be unveiled and then Greek citizens will enjoy being under my rule.
 
the carthaginian forces abandoned Aleria ... for now. Hannibal is re-oranizing the army to strike the Romans in a way they won't forget for a long time...

anyways I discovered a VERY UGLY bug. Not sure if just in this game or all PBEMs, but it made me loose my excitation about PBEMs.
 
what's the bug?
 
of course I'm not going to say , cos I know I won't exploit it but I don't know about others... actually it's not hard to find out, hence... :rolleyes:

anyways in our other PBEMs there isn't this bug, luckily.
 
just to let everyone know, i have renamed the file i received from pydna30 to pydna29. i looked back at the files i have (yes, i save all of them!) and we are still on turn 29.

6 more turns and the Macedonians will find Persian soldiers in their streets. are you all counting down?
