C3C v1.22 patch (standalone) is out!!!

Do we know if the Conquest saves from 1.15 load into 1.22? I understand why the Epic game saves wouldn't, but the Conquests saves don't involve the Radio fix...

On my first game after installing this latest patch, i was having a lengthy war in democracy and suddenly my people revolt and i am thrown into anarchy for 8 turns when i was just 1 turn away from building the Hoover Dam!

I quit the game in frustration. The lesson i get is: Do not get into long wars in democracy with this patch.

i think that would happen on any version to be fair, i've been kicked out of democracy on the original civ 3

You still have to go to the editor and remove radio from the civ advances so it doesn't show up on the tech tree. (1.22)

BTW, Make this one change to 1.22 and it is great for single player. I know there is still the sub bug et al, but it is IMHO the best available for single player.

What's with the reverse capture the flag on this screen.

Should there be a button beside it or is that text that belongs somewhere else.

That has always been there in the game setup screen. You can't select or deselect it. It's a feature you can use in scenarios.

That has always happened, democracy is always bad for war. Keep them short choose a different government.

Radio is still here.. Clean install of Civ3+C3C+1.22

Probably because you loaded an old save of a modded rules game.

nope, new game. it shows up in the tech tree. i havent researched it yet so i dont know if i can choose it though.,

Make sure your startup screen shows 1.22 at the bottom left corner.

As I posted a few posts ago, I had to go into the editor choose the Era as none for radio to disappear from the tech tree, all is good now.

The Radio should not even be present in the editor if you install 1.22

Look at my post above, I show radio and I am definitely running 1.22.

1.22 shows up on the title screen and histograph now again calculated dead Civs.

I loaded the 1.22full patch, I didn't load the string of partial fixes, I went straight from 1.15 to 1.22. Maybe if you loaded 1.2 then the fixes and then 1.22 patch, could things have be compiled differently.

It looks like you are using an old conquests.biq file.

This is the only conquest.biq file in my conquests folder.

Could you post what yours looks like.

What is the date on your file?
The correct 1.22 conquests.biq and conquests.mb files should both have 4/2/2004, 2:37 PM as their date.

that's mine. i installed from the cd, then 1.22 full directly. radio is still there though

My conquests.mb was 4/2/2004.

My conquests.biq was 4/10/2004 because I modified it to disable radio.

So I renamed the conquests.biq to make it go away and reloaded the 1.22full patch and now I have a new conquests.biq without radio.

Strange!
