C3C v1.22 patch (standalone) is out!!!

So, the problem with the "sitting" barbarians has been solved as well?
 
I don't know what that is, but I probably wouldn't know the answer anyways. I was just quoting from what Chieftess told me, i've not found out anything else myself. Don't ask me :D

Ps: Actually, I was playing a game recently where there were a few Barbarians just sitting around on mountains (for a few turns). They were from a popped hut. I think they eventually moved away though ---- is this sitting Barbarians? (You can just edit it into yer post)

So I downloaded the Conquests Trial version, and registered/bought it online. That gave me an activation code and the game worked fine. Except it was ver. 1 and it crashed when exiting the game, so I installed patch 1.22. Now when I try to start the game it asks for the Conquests CD, which I obviously don't have since I bought the game and downloaded it online. Does anyone know how to get the game to run with the patch?
 
Hey! I've looked all over the place and can't find the readme! Can someone point me to the C3C v1.22 patch readme?

Get in touch with the people you bought it from. This came up earlier and the person who bought the game online had to go through the retailer to d/l the patch for the game.

Yeah I did that. www.trygames.com said they didn't have any patch for Conquests, and weren't planning on making one either. So I had to ask for a refund. It's kind of stupid I think to sell multiplayer games that can't be patched, making them useless when everyone else are playing patched versions.

That sucks...

Personally, I like having the CDs myself, so I can reinstall as needed, and not d/l it each time.

I had Yahoo!GamesOnDemand for a while, and it was okay. But no XPs, and you were stuck with whateve they had.

At least you got a refund!
 
One thing I've noticed in my single player 1.22 games is that the AI now has a tendency to place settlers in its stacks of combat units WHEN AT WAR which is foolish. I simply kill the combat units and enslave the settlers. Any one else notice this? I've seen it happen in two of my games so far.
 
I still think 1.22 or 1.20 are not worthy. I'm sticking with 1.15, it's the least problematic version of C3C in my view.

Edit: As I know, the only huge bug on 1.15 is the submarine/invisible unit bug, that one really spoils the running of the game.

I hope Firaxis analyses not only the effects of new changes on the patches they launch, but also the effects in old settings, such as the military leader.
 
Now after reading this whole thread. Does any one know why the update was pulled from the Civ 3 site. I see 1.20, but I can only get 1.22 from Mirror which is linked to CivFanantics, instead or Mirror 1, which was back to Firaxis. I also check the Civ 3 site, it doesn't meantion 1.22. I think I missed somethin.
 
So what is the status of rushing Wonders with GLs in Conquests 1.22? Can both do it now? I'm confused. And if I have 1.20 and don't play multiplayer, should I bother with 1.22? When I have access to Civ at all I have a fast connection, so downloading isn't too much trouble, but it sounds like it's more trouble than it's worth. How do I know which of the fixes described in the readme were already fixed in earlier patches?
 
Only SGLs can rush great wonders in any version of C3C.
1.22 fixes some of the bugs associated with the removal of radio and is a stand alone patch that does not require a previous patch.
