I haven't gotten around to checking the music problem, but the new splash fixed the wonder build crash. Unfortunately, the music problem crops up again in the "future" era.

I agree with Wolfhart that the accelerated production leads to a pretty unbalanced game; I was building wonders in less than five terms by the end. I was also going to comment on th apparent uselessness of aqueducts, but I guess that's also caused by the accelerated production flag. Not to mention, I had some pretty huge cities mid-game. Anyway, cities really didn't exist in this time frame, so it might be wise to hold off the aqueduct until late-game, and maybe prevent cities from growing past 12 or so entirely. This would also resolve some of the production imblanance issues, not to mention the pollution problems.

Despite meeting the requirements, I couldn't build the Knight's Templar (it never showed up in the build orders). Maybe I was missing something not mentioned in the Civilopedia?

Finally, modern-era Roman cities appear, well, modern, with skyscrapers and smokestacks.

I can't believe no one has made any Monty Python cracks yet.

Der Steppenwolf:

Glad to hear that the new splash fixed the problem.

The music glitch is still a mystery. I wonder if something got corrupted in the download? I'd suggest trying to download again, but it's such a huge folder.

Not sure what might be the problem with the Knight's Templar. I've looked quickly at the BIQ file and everything seems to be ok. I'll have to wait 'til I get home from work to look at the Art folder & Pediaicons file.

I've looked at the Aqueduct and noticed that the box for allowing cities to grow beyond population 6 is not checked. So I wonder if it has to be checked in order to hold cities at the first level? I suspect so. I've posted this question in the main Creation forum. If so, then I would need something to replicate the Hospital to keep cities from going beyond the third level.

And yes, I did notice that the Roman cities are wrong. Unfortunately, I didn't notice until I sent the files off to 3D Downloads. I'll have to fix that too. Unfortunately, I'm a very bargain basement type modder and do not own Paintshop or Photoshop. I've always just used the trials they offer whenever they publish an updated version. So consequently, I don't have anything that I can use to fix the Cities file without messing up the palette. :(

I really appreciate your comments & suggestions, and will incorporate them into the upcoming update. Thanks.

Well, I was thinking of making the Knights of Knee, but then I'd need to have someone make some shrubery.

Thanks for the compliment.
If you're so inclined, maybe add a little something about your adventure in the silly place. :)

Sorry for the confusion. What I meant to say is that it looked like a great scenario. I haven't downloaded it yet, because it would take 10 hours to download on my computer.

Like I meant to say earlier. This looks awesome! :goodjob:

10 hours?!!!!
Well, that's a bummer.
Wish there was a way I could beam it to you. :scan:
Oh well.

Then I would hate to see Lord Malbeth try to download a mod!

Oh, believe me, I've tried.

I really wish I could play it though.

I'm really sorry to say this, but my parents would kill if I gave that (my address) out.

However, I have an idea.

Could you make a file with everything in it except the units? That would make it so much smaller. I could fill in the blanks myself. This might work! :)

Ahh... Yes. Well that is a predicament. Good job by your parents, though. One can't be too careful these days. And good on you as well for listening to your folks.

Your idea is a good one, and just might work.
I'll give it a go and let you know.
Hey! That rhymes!
I'm a poet and didn't even know it.
My feet show it. They're Longfellows.

:D That's me.

EDIT: Check it out, Azmorg, you got in a sig!

Just dl it and red the rules.
I was just wondering : does the holy grail spawns somewhere randomly at the beginning of the game? Otherwise, once you find it, there's not much point in playing again...
Whatever is the answer, great work! You obviously put a lot of time in this scenario and it shows.

Well now my buck toothed furry friend, if I were to let on about how the Grail shows up and all, wouldnt that be akin to a spoiler? Suffice it to say, the Grail is never in the same place twice. Heh, heh, heh. :mischief:

BTW: Thanks for the compliment.

You made mine. :)

Did you use a special unit for the grail?

Also (not to sound pushy) how is that smaller sized .zip coming. I'm dyin' to play this. :D

Just for your information, my computer can handle about 10 MBs. After that it gets waaaayyyy to long to download. The .zip without the music, terrain, leaderheads, and units should work fine.

Thanks :goodjob:

Stop asking questions about how the Grail is implemented! Why not just play the game and find out?

Honestly, some of us like to learn these things the old-fashioned way...

Stop teasing me! You should have read that I can't play it yet.
