Can you remember which leader you played as in your first Civ IV & Warlords game?

Odd. I was thinking about it the other day and I played as:

Vanilla: Victoria. Because before I got the game I had read here that so many people were having problems with the game and that one of the biggest problems were the cheshire cat effect with Victoria. So I decided to try her out first after I realized I didn't suffer from the effect. And I was so excited. I don't think I finished that game. She was Financial and Expansive then.

Warlords: Hannibal. I was very curious about the charismatic trait and wanted to try it out first. Also, I've always been a fan of Hannibal and Carthage. I didn't finish this game either. I think I was stuck on an island till 1500AD.

BTS: Pericles. I love philosophical and creative especially with libraries and his diplo animation is just so nice. Also wanted to try the new phalanx.

Odd, after the three versions, my favourite leaders are Victoria (the imperialistic version even) and Pericles and I like Hannibal too. They've become the old favourites.

What about you?

Vanilla - Hatshepsut! I think I lost this game to a space race victory on Chieftain.

Warlords - Haven't played it yet! I'm still not able to get anything other than a Time victory on Noble so until I do I'm not upgrading...

But Hannibal sounds interesting. Or maybe I'll try the Celts...

Vanilla - Hatshepsut. I didn't know much of the game before and I thought that culture was the most major thing (creative) and that decision was based on her being Egyptian also..
Warlords - Ragnar. The reason I picked Ragnar was because he's my civ's leader (Scandinavia) but he turned out to be my favourite leader to this moment :D

Vanilla Mansa Musa. I really wanted to give the "new civ" (the one which had never been in a civ game before) a try
Warlords Osman. I just randomly picked one of the new civs.

Vanilla: Caesar, cuz it was the demo. Didn't play any more after that, so it's really easy to remember.

I still remember my first Civ3 civ too.

Vanilla: Mansa Musa. I almost always choose a random leader, and that was what fate handed me.

Warlords: Tokugawa. Contrary to my usual practice, I wanted to choose a military-oriented leader for my first Warlords game.

Vannila: Greeks Alexander :won domination
Warlords: Celts Brennus :space victory

vannila : victoria
warlord: churchill

see the pattern

Played with a random civilization for my first game (of Vanilla), got Victoria. Don't have Warlords, so I can't comment on that. My first Civ4 game (and Civ3 too) seems like it was yesterday.

The Spanish for me. Don't have Warlords yet. I have always played the Spanish, this harkens back to my Civ2 days when I had a weird obsession with Spain. I played a game of France for Civ3, before the expansion came out that added Spain, and my first non tutorial game of Civ2 was the British, because that's what my brother was playing at the time. But in all other games, it has been Spanish.

For Vanilla, Isabella; I didn't care about traits and I let my wife pick.

For Warlods; Ghengis. It was my highest scoring warlords game so far (it was on a pangea, which helped!)

Vanilla: Mansa Musa. Wanted to give Mali a try, as I'd barely heard of them.
Warlords: Wang Kon. Wanted to play as a new civ, and just felt like them. Didn't finish the game though. First game I finished on Warlords was with Churchill.

Vanilla: Caeser. Normal: Space

Warlords: Brennus. Marathon.......... is.................... to.............................. :aargh:!! Aborted 100 turns in.

Vanilla: Gandhi

Warlords: Brennus

Vannila - Catherina (I am Russian)
Warlords - Bismark( I user rundom leader button).

Civ3- Abraham
Civ4- Roosevelt
War- Augustus

Even if the American leaders suck, I still like play as them my first game. I remember my first war was also with the Incas and then the Spanish.
