Can you remember which leader you played as in your first Civ IV & Warlords game?

vanilla = washington

warlords = ramsesII my fav eygptian leader of all time

Civ 3. Rome, tutorial.

C3Conquests: Netherlands, I think. I won by domination on an archipelago map. Seafaring was a nice trait on that map :D

Rhye's civ 3: Japan. Space victory on Monarch.

Civ 4: Saladin. I aimed for a cultural win on Noble. Lost by about 6 turns to Mansa's space ship launch.

Warlords: Hannibal. Got bored with the game, because I moved back to Prince because of the expasion. After kicking the Koreans to the curb, there was some vassal weirdness that made me say "great. I am never going to take a vassal again." and start a new game.

Rhye's civ 4: Persia, space victory. Even though I had wiped out half the world, I found out the world is really big! So I moved to a new one. Go figure.

I started as Roosevelt. Then switched to Napolean. Later became Huayna Capac (had him as avatar fro a long time, then his flag). When Warlords came out I seriously considered switching to Tokugawa because of trait switch. Then I realized that Aggressive was not so important so I stayed with Capac. I have stayed with him so long that I have been increasingly interested in visiting Machu Picchu.

My first game of Civ was for Civ 4 Vanilla; playing as Alexander, no real reason except Greeks are my fav. ancient civ. Walked over everyone, only time i used bombers, and it was against longbwoman, mind it was on the lowest difficulty level.

Warlords.... i think it was Bismark in a one city challenge, i tries to fight my way to victory and died, ah well.

Civ4- Caesar on the tutorial, then Catherine :woohoo:

I was Frederick in my first, having always liked the king of Prussia :)

Haven't played Warlords yet, but I'll definately be the Vikings, me being Norwegian and all :D

not many catherines here. my choice for vanilla. don't have warlords yet. when i do it will probably be brennus, though i hear the uu is c**p.

Oh, well, yeah, actually it was Ceasar for the tutorial. But the first REAL game was Roosevelt. How many other people didn't think of the tutorial? Huh?

All of you: "We didn't play the tutorial because we wanted to impress people."

Civ2: French; Civ3: French; Civ4: Cyrus; Warlords: Catherine. (Don't remember
Civ1).

Best regards,

Vanilla - Caesar, I think.
Warlords - Definitely Ragnar.

Civ IV Vanilla: Hatshepsut. Don't have Warlords yet.

For Civ III, it was Alexander. I think that was also the first civ I played in the original Civ. For Civ II, I can't remember, but it might have been Lincoln and the Americans.

Vanilla: Saladin, because his traits sounded good. And they were... Pitty they changed him in Warlords.

Warlords: Hannibal, because I'm fascinated with the history of Carthage, AND his traits looked great.

Traditionally, though, Babylon has always been my pick for the first play-through of a new Civ title. Here's to hoping Firaxis come to their senses while picking civs for the next expansion!

Edit:
BTS: Hammurabi, see above.

I always plays as America in first games so

CIV 3 Abraham
CIV IV Washington

Who did I try first in BTS? Take a wild guess ;)
