But what happens if the same thumb keep winning and winning? They should just name him/her king/queen and be done with it, save everyone a sore thumb.

I can imagine what happens when someone invades them:

Ahhhh we are being invaded! What do we do?
Let us play thumb wars to determine our course of action.
*Everyone sits to play*
Several minutes later, several cities fall and their army is routed several times, but still they play.
One hour later, the capitol is surrounded and their army has surrendered.
Finally a victor is selected, what will he do?

A) Well, presumably, the army would be playing thumb war too so nothing to worry about. I did say everyone.

B) Iggy is right, thumb wars would be learned back fairly quickly.

C) I like how you assume the victor will be a male. Sexism ftw?
