Caveman 2 Cosmos

Power nets. We have building from your power mod that is required to build power plant. Maybe I name it wrong. I just checked Power Lines should require copper wires.

What are you think abour Mind Controll Prison upgraded from cryogenic prison where people are simply reprogram to be lojal and to not do crime again

Well there is already a Mind Control center.

I remember some body posting this previously in this thread just wanted to bring it back up again because I thought it was a pretty awsome idea. Could all great people be tracked separately so instead of having a 50% chance of getting a great scientist and a 50% chance of getting a great doctor after 20 turns you would have a 1% chance of getting a great scientist every turn and a 1% chance of getting a great doctor every turn. You would also have a chance of getting great people in every city just a higher chance in the cities with more population and culture.

I kinda like the idea myself but it'd take mastery of both the dll and the UI. Only one among us could probably pull this off and I'm sure he has a lot on his plate already when he gets back from vacation.

Still, its noted as something to consider eventually. I myself might try it down the road as I expect I'll have to learn that stuff eventually anyhow.

Currently it is by city, so you can optimise your building in each city so that one city is likely to produce Great Spies, another Great Scientists and another Great Prophets and so on. That is what I do now. I am not sure I like what you are suggesting but it just be that I don't understand the proposal.

Hi,
I play in this great fashion and thank you for having created it, civ 5 is a bust, and if not you and the other modders, probably for many years (civ1) have stopped playing civilization.

Playing in the C23 came to the present day (marathon, great, PerfWord), the game was very exciting and I played like magic, but there was something strange.
Despite the possibilities of technology and raw materials, did not produce any AI aircraft! were helicopters, balloons, airships were not.
I gave my vassals, and only a few aircraft were used.

Complained terribly, so beautiful and difficult gameplay and a handicap here.
Can I save sent to investigate, I hope it will not happen again in the C25, because it would be sad :)

-As far as too high stacks, I treat it so that it is a lot of enemy troops and you can not see the number, you should carry a spy who can enter the stack and we have info :)

I greet and greet
I'm sorry, I was writing the translator;)

What I ment was that there are no aicrafts manufactured by AI (i.e. computer) and the statistics of the aircrafts in this game are totally mixed up comparing with the real one. If You happen to have problem with this issue I will be honored to give some advice.
(Wife helped :crazyeye:)

Advice and help which help improve the mod is always welcome. I don't think anyone has taken on a review of the aircraft since we merged in Orion Veteran's aviation mod.

Getting lots of xml errors on startup with the latest svn. Instances of <<<<<<<<mine in the civtraits xml, and lots of other errors. Is this normal? someone working on it? lol

Any reason the game hangs on initializing when you start? I waited at least 10 min. (version 25)

Also... I cannot download any files over 200 MB. The file connection gets dropped. I had to download version 25 in the separate rar pieces and I cant download v23 (since 25 hangs...). FYI I got 15 working (which I downloaded a long time ago).

Ok, Figured it out!! For some reason either the extra long movies or the letterheads causes the crash. I recreated the directory from scratch without both of those and it works fine. I am disappointed in the loss of the flags (instead of a solid yellow color, france had a blue white red flag) for units though (a nice feature that existed in v15). Is there an option for displaying them in version 25?

Those links should really be deleted (extra LHs), as they have not worked for a while. The flags issue IIRC has been fixed for v26, which I think will get released on Tuesday.

This would be an amazing mod.... so much to work with. However, is there a reason it is taking me over 150 turns for my city to grow in population and 50+ turns to research something? I am 81 turns into my game and I still have 24 turns to discover my SECOND tech. I just barely hit the halfway mark for my first population growth. The turns also take an alarming amount of time for the beginning of the game (About 3-8 seconds when it should be nearly instant).

Needless to say... it is getting old fast. I am bored out of my mind because I have to sit for about 5-10 minutes for anything to happen other than exploration. (I started in the Ancient era and I do not play with barbarians... I find them a complete nuisance).

Hm, you are probably playing eternity. Try Marathon, it has about 6 to 8 turns per tech, that should go much faster.

I suspect the problem is starting in ancient. I don't think anyone has rally tuned non-prehistoric starts, so you'll have a city with o extra research jumping immediately into the second eras research costs.

Oh, I totally missed that. Yes, starting in Ancient is a horrible idea, as we have not in any way balanced that.

@Primem0ver
I read somewhere that in your genetic era mod you add posibility to build submerged colony (underwater city).
How you managed the problem with displaying underwter graphic? Does underwater cty really looks like it is underwater?

I normally feel the same way about barbs, but in C2C, they aren't so bad and are actually quite handy to have around for sharpening your units' teeth on. Without them, this mod loses too much of its flavor.

And yeah, I'd always start in prehistoric, even if it does default to Ancient instead.

Please try downloading again.

With 37,000 downloads I don't think it's the files problem. And it's a .rar file.

Thank you and Welcome to C2C. :)

First: It's not a .rar file it's a 7z file and second: I've downloaded it dozens of times same problem
