@strategyonly,

when do you plan to release v34 ?
Or is it possible, to download somewhere the latest builds ?

regards

onkelM

Release is planned for mid January, probably later.

You can always get the latest builds with the SVN: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=429816

Just follow the instructions, it is really easy! And when you want a newer version in the future you can just "update" your copy, meaning you don't need to download everything again, the program just downloads everthing that was added/removed and changed for you!

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Huzza! Nexus has just opened up to all PC games/mods!!! If yous guys wan't more exposure and (Duh) More players then get yo ass over there with C2C!!! Now Boy! I say NOW!

Hey I'm back after playing this mod way back in about May.

First of all I'm'm not sure where I can find out what number version I have atm. Where can I find out?

I need to decide if I should bother getting the latest version 33, 1.55GB is expensive for me so is there a way I can just update the game rather then re-download the whole thing?

Are there patch notes to help me decide if the new features are worth it over my current version?

Thanks.

Hi!

Since May A LOT has happened! You can find your Version number if you hover your mouse over your flag next to the minimap I think.

You can use the SVN (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=429816)
You have to download the whole mod at the first time, but after that you can alwys just hit "update" and get the latest revision (not version, but the newest changes!). Meaning you will never have to download the whole darn thing again!

A few things that were added since may (and there are probably many more):

- Graphic Paging allows to play maps as big as GEM (or bigger!) without viewports without getting MAF errors!

- The Transhuman Era is now filled in with A LOT of new buildings.

- A lot of AI improvements and turntime improvements

- Atompunk, Biopunk and Cyberpunk are more implented.

You can find changeslogs for example here:

Thank you. I decided to play V28 for now until I have more internet next week. But unfortunately when I built my first Wonder (Stonehenge) I noticed a major glitch in which I didn't get a great person at all. Time until great person remained at none and there was no Great Prophet in my city population. In addition animals were constantly being represented by the wrong models until I click on them.

I'm sure this is a problem on my end, maybe from moving the files back and forth between hard drives.

But anyway, I'm just going to wait until I can freshly install V33 before I play again. I'm not going to try updating my V28 that got corrupted somehow.

I look forward to trying the latest version.

Not getting any GP pts from Stonehenge would be odd yes, but the animal issue you were having you'll always have if you don't set unit animations to ON in the Civ4 Option panel.

How does one reduce the instances of fires in the lead part of the game? I'm getting very tired of having to rebuild buildings and fires are happening way too often.

In case you don't realize, some buildings will add significantly to flammability issues, +5 in most cases.

Some national wonders do as well, If they are getting out of hand shoot for Firehouses tech asap they help a great deal. Hope that helps..

Regarding this, building the fire pit most certainly leads to an event that it got destroyed after a few turns max. Building the national wonder which gives a fire pit in every city usually circumvents this. I guess in the beginning the game has to choose from very few events and so they are likely to happen (Like the city got hit by a hurricane usually within the first 100 turns or so).

Just started a game with the latest SVN. Immortal, Industrious, Expansive, Populist (Basil), minor civs - and I got immediately a free Engineer in the city. Is that right? Never seen that before.
