Caveman 2 Cosmos

I was wondering can you use a save made by version 37 with the SVN or does it require a new game?

You might be able to get away with it but there are some destabilizing, rather than outright incompatibility generating, changes that went in recently. We are still working at possibly recovering that compatibility. It won't be in place for v38 unfortunately.

It is a save still in the prehistoric age, my first go at this mod, which is grand! Though I noticed the computer starting to build up like 6-7 healers in one city already, of a size 5 town. Which struck me as a little unusual. So you'd not advice me to do so?

Also noticed the Ctrl-T (recalculate) option here works properly, in the mod 'Dawn of Civ' that option messes up the making you get a negative amount of coins in a city and your trade routes wealth just go crazy.

I thought you or maybe Toffer said that it does affect the player? Am I remembering right?
It might have been a communication breakdown back then. That we both said the same thing and that we both thought the other one said the opposite thing from ourselves.

I'm sure I was adamant about it only affecting the AI and that it was only the iAI values for the main human player's chosen handicap that was used by the game.
I seem to remember that you thought the iAI values for the handicap the AI used was the one that was used by the game to affect the AI.

Recap: iAI modifiers only affect the AI players and it is only the iAI modifiers present in the difficulty the human player use that is active in a game.

Thanks for the reaffirmation and clarification about the iAI modifiers in the HandicapInfos file.

If you are using a current SVN on a v37 save I would really recommend a new game. The v37 save may play "okay" for awhile but it will eventually become more and more corrupt. And then CTD. Sorry but there have been over a years worth of changes to major portions of the Mod since the v37 release. And v38 release is standing at the door now.

I hope so I really want to start Livestreaming V38. I have been playing random games for the past wee while to pass the time

That will be a long stream then. Pretty keen on sinking my teeth into a good Civ game too. It has been a while.

Seems Friday the 9th is the New Date. But don't hold your breath till then.

The final FPK packing is a much bigger project than anticipated. We worked about 8 hours or so on it yesterday and weren't able to finish the setup of JUST the sparth units FPK. It really is amazing how much is there to pack! We'll get them done asap anyhow. Otherwise I think we're pretty good to be on track for Friday.

For my C2C ones? The Sennacherib one started at 130+ views then fizzled down to about 10ish viewers per video.

Overall it is usually about 5-20 views per video. I am still an incredibly small youtuber.

My twitch however gets about 3-6 viewers per livestream. Max maybe about 15

Is there a way to disable the camera from flipping between all of the animals between turns? It's too much. Also, wanted to check that v37 is your latest. There's a 'Player's Guide' for v38 saying v37 was unbalanced, especially when it comes to crime, but v37 seems to be the latest downloadable. And is it possible in future to have the version number show in the title, so we easily check to see that we have the latest? Thaks for all of your dedication to this mod.

Yeah, I've debated turning off that option in my games. Problem is, being able to see moves of actual enemy civs is too important. So there's the dilemma of either not being able to see what you need to see, or being subjected to a parade of irrelevant animal moves.

V38 should be out today or tomorrow. Original release version of V37 is totally broken but patched version is good. I would download the patched V37 for reserve, wait for the V38 and test that once it is released.

@Morlark I dont think I have ever played with "Show enemy moves" option turned on. Just irritates me too much. I usually just pay close attention at the start of my turn as to where everything is

Also @OKSleeper I would defo hold on playing this mod until after V38 is released. Even when it is released I would suggest figuring out how to use the SVN thing and updating it every so often
