Are you sure that is all C2C? Because C2Csvn is only 4.5GB for me, and the entire SVN folder only 9GB including C2C, DOC, and RI.

Yup just checked it's size after this afternoon's D/L of version 3103. Of course when I say C2C I mean the SVN folder.

I just started version 24 and I experienced extreme volcanic activity as well. By turn 150 on eternal speed, over 75% of the civs had a volcano pop up in their city's radius. I read earlier about going into the event trigger info and changing the iWeight, but I can't get it to work. I apologize, I'm not too tech savvy. I found that document, but since it's on the web, I don't know how to change it. The weight was at 1100. Can someone give me some help? Or if you know of a better way to fix this problem, that would be just as helpful.

Try using the SVN version, the Volcano issues were alleviated on that.

Is there another way to alleviate it? I created my own map which took many days to finish and that was after I already made it once and my computer crashed. It'd be really nice to not have to redo it, unless you can help me transfer the map to the new version.

The map (and any saves) should work without change.
 
How do I use the static leaderheads? What changes do I have to make?

The static ones are already inplace and being used, its just that i haven't gotten to ALL the animated ones yet:blush:
 
@All, I have been playing with CivPlayer8's advanced civics mod and for the most part think they would be a valuable addition to the core C2C. Feedback from others would be nice also.

1) It can't be modular because it adjusts some civics adding in some civic options and removing or moving others to a different category.

2) The only problem one is the Warfare category but it has a couple of very important civics in it, Pacaficm and M.A.D.. I think it needs a bit of work.

3) If we want to keep both the current set and use this set we would need to make it an option which will require some minor work for Hydromancerx and Vokarya. Although we (CivPlayer8 and I) could do the basic work for them and they could just replace those building XML files. Same goes for leaders.

4) If we are keeping both sets then we need a simple set for beginners also.

Personally, I think CivPlayer8's should be the default and we should have a new simple set. Leaving just two options Simple and Normal.

-Chivalry
-Line Infantry
-Skirmishes
-Grand Navy
-Trench Warfare

-Shock and Awe

But instead have ...

New Soldiers(New) Civics:
-Militia
-Banditry
-Conscription
-Vassalage
-Mercenaries
-Volunteer Army
-Cloning
-Unmanned Warfare
-Time Drafting

As the military civic. The first set is too specific. While the Soldiers groups is better off being merged wit the existing the Military civic.

If you do that then I have no problems with merging the other civics.

That is an old version of the warfare civics. Pacificm and MAD are now in there and others are gone. I'll see if I can get a set of screen dumps up.
 
My wife and I are ready to play again. We finished moving and unpacking for the most part. Its been since April since I have been able to play. So we shall start one tonight and flip for who is Canada lol. Anyways thanks for keeping up on the mod. Curious to see what has been done.
