Caveman 2 Cosmos

I did manage to download it from the torrent link after installing uTorrent. It took a really long time (about 7 hours) because I'm in Korea so in a completely different time zone from other seeders (is that right?), but I did get it. One thing though, I had to move it from the installed directory to My Games/Beyond the Sword/MODS in order for it to load properly. That means I will also need to change the desktop shortcut to match it.

One more thing - the BUG options aren't saving properly. Every turn my Civ4 messages are taken up with notifications that .ini files failed to save. Correlated to this is that I have to reset the terrain damage and multiple religion spread options every time I load my saved game. Other than that, the game runs fine. That said, I'm still in the Prehistoric Era. Hopefully I can make it through the medieval era without repeatable CTD this time.

Run C2C as an administrator. It will save your settings. I had the same issue. Right click on shortcut /Compatibility / checkmark run as administrator.

Why has "Paleo-Indians" been made into a civ? If you're going to do that, why not Indo-Aryans? This seems like really bad idea. And a whole bunch of historically important civs (Austria, Hungary, Bulgaria, Finland, Belgium, Khwarezm, etc.) haven't been put in yet. I'm not complaining, I just think the prioritization is weird.
Because prioritizing what civs are in the game is extremely minor, as they have well over several dozen other things they need to focus on, from multi-maps, to game balance, to finishing the tech tree(i started playing on version 26 or 27, when a lot more of the tech tree did nothing), to nomad start, to balancing starting at later eras, and a lot other things.

It's likely something on the bottom of their list because of all the stuff they been working on. And civs really only effect your leader and starting culture building. Not much else.

But Paleo-Indians. They aren't even a civ.

Downloaded this last month - still not through my first match yet! Really amazing mod, HUGE in scope! I'm also glad to see that cities are culturally diverse, and a few of the units have had cultural skins added as well. Really adds to the immersion and overall appearance, and I can't wait to see that aspect finished. To that end, have you talked to the folks over at the Diversica mod about possibly using some of their assets? I was running that until I found C2C, and the models, animations and textures they did were fantastic.

Anyway, keep up the good work guys! Looking forward to starting my next C2C game.

Sparth that is amazing they all look more detailed and quite ethnic indeed. I look forward to them being added into C2C. Thx :D

The community needs more talented artist like yourself. We have quite a few as it is but always need more, never enough.

I have been playing only C2C for so long I admit I don't know your work other then with this Mod. Planetfall and Fall from Heaven are the other Mods I love for Civ IV. ;)

Keep it up man!

You need to "Run as Administrator."

hmmm, my account in windows says i am running as admin. Still i have the bug-option screen :(

That account stuff doesnt mean anything, its completely different.

Right Click on the BtS exe icon and then try RaA, ok.

Let me know if you have any issues finding or downloading from the torrent link.

Sorry if this has been addressed before but I can't change the installation folder during setup. Any attempts to browse will not let me select, and any attempts to type it in manually will not let the Next button work.

Could I just install to the default folder it says, and move the files to the folder I want?
