CCTP Rebuild

Gyogen2 check the main regular Download file. The zip file looks like it is missing all the sub directories.
 
I'm not getting a crash w/ space bomber, are you using any other mods?

This bug is known, but i never encountered it.
But its reported several times over the last years! (think 2-4 reports at all).
I thought it was erased with the last updates, any chance that you can send us your logs ? (if you have enabled them)
 
made it to turn 995 and no problems except for when I went to use the space bomber... crashes game when you choose attack.

Could you please tell which versions of mods you utilize?
I installed current versions drom this thread and have a lot of bugs :(.
 
If you haven't already done so, I would recommend removing the original version from mod folder, clearing the cache and moduserdata folders, and starting a new game.

Also, I assume it's a typo, but you said you installed the current versions from this thread. There are two versions here, one regular, and one for use with Whowards dlls, make sure you only use one.

If you're still having issues, and have logging enabled, could you post your logs.

I used CCTP and 34civs DLL - now I'll try a 'standalone' version.
Cache and moduserdata cleared. Hope this will help, 'cause mod is really interesting!

I don't think it is better now - turn timer is still crashed, there are still some missing textures. In addition, building 'palace' in my capital causes all the beakers halved :| - I don't think it works as designed :(.

I'm sorry, but I don't completely understand. I'm not sure what turn timer you're referring to. I know in multiplayer games there's a timer, but I don't know of one in single player.

I'm also not sure what you mean by beakers halved. When you first start, you should have the Tree of Life, which produces half as much research as a Palace. You can build a Palace once proper tech is researched.

Also, do you know which textures you're missing?

If you could enable logging and send us your Database and Lua logs, I couldget a better idea if there's a problem.

What I meant earlier - as for turn timer (maybe turn indicator is a better name) I meant year number (e.g. now I have turn 133, early classical era, 2866 AD). My BPT in all cities halved after building palace in the capital. Missing textures are building icons (city screens and current tech).

Please let me know what exact log do you need (lua? modding? xml?).

I don't know if you have gotten this reported, but whenever I start a game on prince difficulty it changes it to chieftain after the game starts. Do you have any idea what could be causing it? Its not much of a bug because king difficulty works fine but I haven't tested other difficulties.

OK, I know about that problem, it is in the game pace rules, I haven't messed with it because I wasn't sure of what Gilga was intending for the update, or what pace was best for people. If you want to adjust t for youself, open CCTP_Game Pace Rules.sql in the cctp\Various folder of the mod with a text editor and look for the lines that look for:
INSERT INTO GameSpeed_Turns (GameSpeedType, MonthIncrement, TurnsPerIncrement)

The monthincrement if how many months pass in a turn, the turnsperincrement is how many turns that number of months is used.

I have a class this morning, but when I get back I'll check about the palace and with icons are missing.
BTW, probably don't need logs for these problems, but for future reference it would be database.log and maybe lua.log

I forgot to mention I think the pacing problem is because a lot of techs were added, so it takes a lot longer to get through an era, especially ancient.(usually takes me at least 150 or more turns)

The same for me, I'll check some configs for that :)
Anyway, palace is now the biggest issue for me - it causes a modifier to appear in all cities '-50%', what is obviously not intended!:sad:

The pacesystem in that version was a try to get the techs working correctly, while expanding the whole techtree.
Not to mention that i didnt get the time to play all settings (fast-marathon).
The worst mistake i done was not to alter the starting time lol.
Its a big system, that needs fine tuning, but it depends on many factors.

For the difficulty problem, iam not sure why its changed, but it could be that there is something not correctly working at all.

For the palace, since i removed the tree of live and rejusted the palace with the -50% science bonus, and iam not sure why other parts also get a - malus at all.

Did this happen with every civ? Or is it a problem with all civs at all?

For the logs, the most important logs are the database and the lua logs)
