Well I have always just operated under the policy that, as all picks are contingent on a winner (i.e. "I picked St. Louis to win, but not cover"), and as nobody "picked the team to tie", nobody gets any points. It seems easiest given how the rest of the games are scored. If y'all want me to award points based on the spread, I can do that, but it kind of throws all the other points awardings into whack (e.g. say the game is SEA @ NE -3, and SEA wins, in the old system, anybody who took NE, whether it be covers or does not cover, gets 0 points, and anybody who took Seattle gets 2 points; however in the new system, anybody who took NE dnc would also get a point)
Timsup had an outstanding week. The rest of us...not so much. As mentioned in the post above, in the event of a tie, nobody gets points, as can be seen in the SEA@ARI game.
Light Cleric and Berzerker shared the win this week. Berzerker, astoundingly, did so still without giving a full slew of picks. Once again, he only did a straight pick'em, so I recorded all his picks as covers or wins. Didn't seem to hurt him though, so congratulations to Berzerker! Once again, tie=no points, so WAS@CIN is empty.
I maintain my lead, although my past couple lackluster weeks have slimmed that margin. Light Cleric pulls securely into 2nd place, leapfrogging both cake and viva after week 7. Cake falls to 5th on the back of a couple bad weeks and one really good Tim one. Berzerker's 16-point week 8 doubles his total for the year. The year's half over, still plenty of time for some epic rallies and hilarious collapses
