OK--I've already tried it twice before. Both times my attempts to make a long-lasting RPG game have failed.

So here's the plan: no fighting. Combat rules are just way too much of a hassle to be coherently played out on a message board. It can be done, but it would take days and days for a single fight to finish.

The rules? This will essentially be D&D simplified to an extreme. I will act as the computer for the world and NPCs, you will make decisions to advance the storyline. In fact, I already have a storyline from the last two games waiting to be finished, so I'll just use that, allrighty? :p

Note: Please do not play out of your bounds. If two critters approached you, you cannot say, "I bash the living brains out of them, run to the highest peak and become God, yeah, then I flatten the whole world because God can do that!" As you are roleplaying, it is up to you to react to something just as you would in real life. Power-playing only ruins it for everyone.

Questions? :D

More than one setting, actually. I have plans to go beyond fantasy and sci-fi into superheroes, westerns, and a lot of the time more realist stuff. Each part of the game will be broken up into chunks to allow for this.
