Oh it's just graphical then? I really don't like Natasha, I mean, yeah, I'd like it if I played Heavy and had it I guess, but the weapon's description says it causes "slow-down"... I think they should just go ahead and call it "complete stoppage". Speed was one important weakness of the Heavy and Natasha negates it, now they only have snipers to worry about and the occasional spy (although everyone pretty much has to worry about that, and now when they spycheck it's even more obvious they're hitting a spy as he just stutters to a halt).

As for demomen's stickies, well that's a good thing. It won't stop demomen from putting a bunch of stickies on a corner and blow you up as you walk by (which is their purpose and is alright I guess), but it will at least somewhat make it harder for them to to find themselves in a one on one fight and just throw stickies around randomly and blow you up without even trying.

Considering the fact I die the most as a spy due to demoman stickies. Even more than random pyro flames.

Nerfing demoman stickies is always a good thing. Might make me start playing pyro and only pyro again though. I'm good for this Saturday, and if phil isn't there I will be very cross.

Hey guys, I have a quick question.

As you probably haven't heard yet, I'm getting my new computer soon, hopefully by the beggining of March. When I get Steam back up on the new computer, do I need to reinstall all of my Steam-based games (ie Team Fortress 2) or will it be all set up when Steam is set up?

i feel rather cruel now, so let's have you use some logic. think, a game covering several gigabytes of data, without the need for cd.

you think if you install a quick program that only is a few mb's, the whole game will be available to play?

It does that but the invitation gets sent anyway. It's weird.

So be patient and wait for Bigfoot or philippe to get on.

I think anybody can invite members, but only me and phil can set events/announcements and the like.

If you are using a new hard drive, then yes, of course you will need to reinstall your games!

Natasha is pretty useful, it slows down enemies but only does 75% damage. It's no worse than Sasha which can be pretty deadly too.

Yeah, with 75%, it goes from "chewing up your health" to "chewing up your health". Maybe at 50% I'd start thinking the weapon has a downside.

When Natascha was (accidentally) 66% damage it was less than desirable. But yeah, now there's really not much reason to use Sasha.

I am annoyed that they're giving Scout the update when I hate everything that has anything to do with the class.

Like I said, I love playing the scout, so I'm glad the update is coming. Yet I think the first week is going to be miserable because fighting scouts (as pretty much any class) is kind of annoying and they'll be everywhere.

Add the usual medic and they're invincible. Usually you can sort of try to go around the Heavy and damage the medic, but when you're slowed down (stopped), meh.
