My issue is the new sounds for friends logging in and chatting to you, they actually forced me to tear off my headphones out of irritation.

Other than that, I think most issues will be fixed as they tweak the design. Especially if the game list can be reduced in size more like it is in the current steam.

The games list size is pretty much my (and most people that I asked) biggest issue with the UI beta. Well, the font size and color in the games list is also annoying. The letters and numbers are too thin for me to look at for any period of time longer than 3 seconds. I just cant stare at that kind of font.

I hope they also remove all ties with IE, as at the moment, even though WebKit is being used, IE is still required for a couple of the settings (Steam pulls the settings from IE internet options)

Once thats done, its possible that Steam will work even better with Wine on Linux. That would be quite...awesome.

Um, is there a way to play a Steam game without stopping current Steam game downloads?

I mean, I just bought some games, they're downloading, I want to play them tonight when the download's done in a couple of hours, but meanwhile I'm trying to play other Steam games and it just seems to pause my download for the game I just bought. So basically, if I want to play this new game later tonight I can't play other Steam games? ...

I hate it when it does that too, I usually either leave it or alt tab and pause then unpause them. Usually works.

Yeah what the hell? It's not like this specific situation happens that often, but it tends to happen exactly when it should not (like a Friday night because there was a sale).

Just stumbled upon the CFC group on steam. I play mainly TF2, and even though I've clocked up over 100 hours on it, I'm still very much a noob at times...
