1984, the Orwellian dystopia. Eastasia, Eurasia and Oceania, wasn't it?

Yep. Of course, that's one theory. The other theory is that there's only Oceania and that it's all in the British Isles. But that's not fun to draw as a map. :)

Or maybe it's all, like John Lydon would say 'in England's dreaming', and north and west of Ingerland's borders there's freedom…

It would explain why the rocket bombs. Either that or Oceania is bombing itself to keep the population ready to rally against outsiders.

Oceania is at war with Eurasia. Oceania has always been at war with Eurasia.

Oceania has just declared war on Eastasia after signing a MPP with Eurasia for 20 turns, helped by 200 gold an Incense. So, Oceania's always been at war with Eastasia.

edit: lol x-post!

And I'd like a tall glass of....Coke Zero and someone tell me more about these "NESes"

*Ahem*

As the resident NES cheerleader, I feel I can answer this question.

*NESing* is similar to IOT in that you are roleplaying the leadership of a nation. It was started many years ago here on CFC, and has evolved much further subsequently.

People here sometimes cry that its too complex.. but there is great variance between NESes, some incredibly simple, others admittedly mind bogglingly complex.

NESes have more complex rules because over time, people disliked the lack of control they had over their nations. Economies, Army sizes etc all started gaining tracked stats.. compare these two, one from an AMAZING but complex NES, another from a much more simple NES. I'd like to stress, in most cases, it is up to the MOD to track all these stats, not the player.

You need to add baked apple to the menu.

Probably but there's a lot less domestic stuff to keep track of.

Mods take care of all stats. All you need to do is just tell him how'll you use said stats. (And, a tip, be creative and discriptive. Mods love that kind of stuff, (because they don't have to do as much work), so they give more bonuses to you)

Its more the case its a PITA to write an interesting update if everyone sends boring orders.
Also, its a bit saddening to know your probably going to spend your whole weekend writing an update for people who spent less than 5 minutes writing their orders.
:/
