CGN Aid

I would like to discuss possible aid to CGN. I couldn't get people to talk about it in the Foreign Ministry, so here is a nice thread for it. You could discuss from potential war with GWT to sending some form of aid to CGN or just leaving everything alone but please say something.

OK, I think this is quite possibly motivated because Netatolia is thinking of dropping out of the game and our aid would peak their interest.

If this is not the case, and Netatolia is going to stay in the game no matter what, then I support helping them in ways that only indirectly involve them in the war.

If on the other hand, they are going to quit the game without our involvement, then I say we cave to their black-mail and throw our weight behind them in an all-out fight to the death with Webringen and Gamecatcher. Because, really, would their be a point to continue playing a game in which Netatolia retired?

I'm also a little boozed up right now, so feel free to disagree in the most impolite ways.

No, however, some may think war later is a good option.

I think that war later is a good option, but it will take a bit of work for us to even be effective.

First of all, we would have to wait until we get Navigation. I will speak with Apolyton as soon as possible regarding our possible tech arrangement to get us that tech(and the ones leading to it) when Poly discovers it.

Secondly, we would have to put a huge emphasis on Riders almost immediately. So we need to decide how important this is against our other priorities.

Lastly, we need to hear from Netatolia. Not much can happen until they make a personal or public appearance. Zarn, please post here, as well as the FA office, when they respond to your message.

I say that we avoid war at all costs. I think we need more production to go to building the new cities and settling our side of the continant. We should build up our military slowly now and when the cities are done a little more.

If GWT is winning greatly as in outside CGN's capital I say we lead an assalt on the northern tip of the western continant, right at the GWT homeland. If this works this should cause the GWT troops in CGN territory to go back north to defend their major production cities.

why start an assault that would never work? Why dont we just send troops straight into the territory that's in danger and then help thwart the enemy

And the reasion we do not go straght into the war is because some of us oppose it and we can't get accross the ocean.

I don't think he likes to talk as much as I do. He definately read it. Should I send another message? He may have forgotten about it. Some read to respond later, but never do. I don't think they would ignore someone that could help them against GWT.

I'm sorry I was waiting to see what my schedule was like but it isnt good. I have been working 12 hours a day and was also here all night. Plus I always get confused trying to match up the time zones but after rereading your message we are in the same time zone and usually 4pm-7pm would be good just not this week. Do you have a chat channel already setup? I doubt very much that I will make it home tonight and tomorrow is just as bad. I could shoot for Friday 03-19-04 at 4pm.
