I've updated the QSC Submissions page to behave like the GOTM Submissions page.
Incentive #1 was so that it will update automatically to accept COTM04 while I'm away.
Incentive #2 was to enforce submitted file options that will help with the processing of QSC entries in future. One of the delays in results release has been the need for extensive manual intervention to handle zip files and submission system errors. These are due to a relaxed rule set, not the fault of the players.
So from now on you must submit a manual save created at 1000 BC, not zipped, and a timeline file. Anything else will be rejected. A 21 day submission period from the release of each game will be enforced by the software, which will also check the game ID and ensure that it and the timeline file end up in the right places for subsequent processing.
While I'm away (see sig), if there are any problems with the new system, or with any of the submissions systems, please ensure that you email your files and error reports to the staff immediately so that we can follow them up.
