Chaos SG

arrg - in character - and I forget who is what (or is it what is who)? Don't you just love this smilie :nono: - my personal fav. With regards your immoral question - I would think that you should give yourself a wedgy - now that would be a great prank. You are just lucky I am at work and I cannot rename the cities (again).

My favorite smiley is :gripe:

And since I don't see a little icon next to our name on that last screenshot, I have to suspect I'll be using it a lot during my turns.

Lurker's comment

Dang, wish I'd gotten in on this one :) I have a favour to ask though - for those of you whose sigs don't mention which role you're playing, could you either add that to them or post it when you post a turnset? It makes lurking more fun (and fractionally less confusing, heh) :)

Cheers!

This is major :crazyeye:... the AIs will think Chaos is the country of Schizophrenia (which seems kinda true, right now :crazyeye: )
How 'bout setting a limit on how many times Ruff can prank? 'cuz not everyone's played and he already went at it 3 times.

And yeah, a character list à la LK would be great ;)

DEFINITELY subscribing to this one. Hilarious stuff INCOMING!

Edit: Forgot to subscribe

I don't think this prankster can be limited, even if we tried;)
He's doing great in my opinion.
A real prankster can never be leashed:p

For 3300 years the poor people of Chaos ... er, Theory ... er, Whatever have been subjected to warmongers and whippers and pranksters and surrender monkeys. For 3300 years they've crouched nervously in their rooms, wondering what cruel fate had in store for them next. Is it any surprise that the people have begun to look for solace in external forces? That maybe there was a being of luminous power that could be their salvation?

Well, even if they haven't, they're about to feel the Holy Hand of All Heck as ChrTh the First takes the bench.

And may God have Mercy on their souls!

Oh wait, that's the point!

Situation Assessment:

We have no faith (although to be fair, if I had lived in Chaos I probably would've gone Atheist a long time ago ...). Judaism, Buddhism, and Hinduism have all been founded. Buddhism has been founded by Genghis, Hinduism by Elizabeth, and it is unknown who has found Judaism (I'm guessing either Genghis or Liz since the founder has not converted). We do have Open Borders with Liz and Genghis, so that's good as it makes it more likely our people can find faith.

In terms of tech, we're wicked behind in the religious techs. I'm tempted to preempt Alphabet, but since it will allow us to grab the religious techs far more efficiently I decide to stick with it.

Our cities have also turned inward, changing their names to Comfort, Solace, and Holy Terror. Solace realizes that a granary before obelisk is freakin' stupid because we need copper to smite our enemies of the faith (whatever it turns out to be). Comfort is not growing ... and the people realize that a library may help them find their faith, so they gladly give their lives to hurrying its construction.

Our military is not equipped to spread our faith (whatever it turns out to be). These may turn out to be my major focus this turn.

Turn 1 -- 675 BC

Comfort: Library > Granary
Holy Terror: Warrior > Library

Oracle BIFL

Turn 2 -- 650 BC

Barbarian nears Comfort ...I thought one of the ten thousand warriors wandering in our territory would've dealt with them

Turn 3 -- 625 BC

Mercy in Killing defeats Barb Warrior.

There are barbs everywhere.

Turn 4 -- 600 BC

I love tree hugging kills a Barb Warrior.

Holy Terror sacrifices 25% of its population to finish its library so it too can search for a new faith.

Turn 5 -- 575 BC

Barb dies attacking Solace.

Holy Terror: Library > Warrior

Open Borders with Cathy

Turn 6 -- 550 BC

Barbs threaten Holy Terror...I'm hoping Liz's Warrior attempts to take them out...

Confucianism FIDL

Turn 7 -- 525 BC

Liz sucks. Her warriors run. Fortunately the Barbs die attacking Holy Terror.

Holy Terror: Warrior > Settler

Vicky converts to Confucianism, so we know she has Code of Laws.

With all the barbs about, I send a warrior to guard our worker pair.

Turn 8 -- 500 BC

:coffee:

Turn 9 -- 475 BC

Cathy demands we cancel our deals with the English ... um, she doesn't tell us which one :crazyeye: ... since both English have a religion, I say NO!

Turn 10 -- 450 BC

Solace: Obelisk > Granary

Barbs approach Solace ... will hopefully die attacking next turn.

Well, that was a heathen set of turns. Unhappy with ChrTh the First's inability to bring light unto the masses, the masses burn him to a crisp. They rename their cities in the hope of purging his memory from history, but signs point to the fact that they may not succeed...

Hey - it sounds like we have a demarcation dispute brewing - I change the names - you deal with it! I formally religate ChrTh to the end of the queue. I was thinking of sending him further back but his comment about "which English" made me laugh.

Now, on to more serious matters ...

Original ROoster:
Cleaner (Munterpipe)
Pushover (minionJoe)
SG Breaker (sharog)
Micromanager (pindicator)
Tyrant (sharog)
Warmonger (Strauss)
Religious Fanatic (chrth)

Genetically Modified Rooster ...
Cleaner (munterpipe)
Pushover (Minion joe)
SG Breaker (Sharog)
MicroManager (pindcator)
Tyrant (chriseay)
Warmonger (Strauss)
Automaton (Zalson)
Religious Fanatic (chrth)

If you compare the save before my turn with the one afterwords, you'll notice the names are the same

On a serious note, I see sharog twice. Is that intentional?

Compare harder! Re rooster - nope, just cut and paste from earlier post and didn't notice the duality. Fixed above.

So am I after Munterpipe now? I thought I was after chriseay...

Lets see if I can do a 'Strauss' impersonation ... Listen bucko - you are where I tell you you are! OK? Do we have a problem with that?

I'm sorry, but I'm totally loaded in stuff to do, so I think I need a skip. If you're confused, MinionJoe, that means you're up.

I've got it!

I probably won't be able to post my turns until tomorrow morning though since I have to run to St. Louis here in a few minutes.

If someone feels that they can get their turns in today and get the file back by tonight, then by all means, please give me a skip and I'll catch you on the rebound. :goodjob:

sorry all - I have to take a skip too - too much cleaning to do

Edit: cleaning in the real world - not the CIV IV world

i think the cleaner can not ask for a skip since that will mean a skip for me as well ;0 due the immense damage that will be inflicted opon ourselves.

He's not the cleaner though, he's the prankster.

This really is chaos already :)
