Idk, I don't entirely buy that because I don't really believe they are going to do anything that they weren't going to do anyway. And let's all be real, if the shooter *had* been a groyper do you that would change anything?
Ok, there's a decent likelihood I'm going to join the crew who thinks this is manufactured. Too perfect. Here's what doesn't ring remotely plausible:
"Since Trump has got into office my dad has been pretty die-hard MAGA."
This is something would have come up previously between Robinson and his love, likely a frequent topic of conversation, in fact. It would not be now that Robinson would be informing her of it for the first time.
I mean, it seems to me that the sort of bigger problem than whether the text exchange is fake or not (idk, I assume there will be more evidence that comes out as the prosecution of Robinson proceeds) is that pretty much no one has confidence in the FBI not to lie, politicize it, or whatever.

The fact that all this stuff is coming out just as charges are being filed hilariously is making a mistrial much more likely. Making jury selection impossible.
I saw this on twitter and don't understand how this flies in a state school. I could see it in a private school, but here you'd think the 1st and 14th would drop down to shield this student's actions and that he'd have a good case.
For what it's worth I submitted the twitter incident I posted above to The Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression. I won't claim to be an expert but if you see students being expelled for voicing opinions, you can submit a case on their behalf if you so choose and they might check it out and help. With all the folks that are out on their witch hunt it's something you can do to help people who are being attacked for exercising their free speech.

Yeah i think this probably is going to result in a payout. As a side note it is fascinating to see conservative officials running through 2015-2017 leftoid social media discourse about the tradeoffs of free speech vs the harms caused by certain kinds of speech. Nancy Mace tweeted "free speech doesn't mean freedom from consequences", which is an exact phrase you heard a lot in that era, Pam Bondi is talking about how hate speech isn't free speech, and I think "consequences culture" may also be a literally recycled phrase from that time too.
You know who else I just learned is not buying these text messages? Steve Bannon! He thinks they sound too stilted.
This thing just gets weirder every hour.
Chat, construct a text message exchange in which a young man in love with a trans woman succinctly and unambiguously confesses to the murder of a prominent political activist, succinctly and unambiguously explains his motives, as well as providing an explanation for odd memes he inscribed on ammunition cartridges--all while repeatedly expressing concern about retrieving the murder weapon.
