Seems to be working well for me, but I also turned off all my mods.
Me too, but tcs improved mod page is currently broken so i had to uninstall it before i could disable the mods.

Yeah, that's going to be a critical point. This patch is going to break nearly all mods. Don't play with mods on until they are up on the Steam Workshop or otherwise updated for this patch.

It's not. I've had enough and am requesting a refund on all the stuff I preordered that hasn't arrived yet. If they can't issue a patch without leaving old bugs and making new ones, I think I'll just join the throng of people waiting until the game is finished before paying.

Actually, of the 14 Mods I use all the time (mostly UI Mods), most seem to be still working fine, even though most of them are not in the Workshop yet.
I am very pleasantly surprised.

Played 2 games part-way and one game all the way hrough Antiquity with the new Mod, and suspicions are confirmed.
With 9 AI Civs and myself on a Huge map, all 21 Wonders in the Age were completed before the Age was 2/3 over. I managed to get 4 of them and then got beat out for 5 Wonders in a row - started one, got 2 turns built, somebody else completed it, shifted to another, lost it in 3 turns, etc. With more competition on the big maps, Antiquity Culture Legacy Path is as close impossible to complete on Diety as anything. In the last 9 turns before the last Wonder was completed, I counted: 11 Wonders were completed in those 9 turns by 9 AI Civs - any Wonder you don't have well-started early is likely to be snatched right out from under you.
Will see how Exploration goes tomorrow.

I've been consistently in a position now where I unlock the Cultural Dark Age in exploration, yeah, especially on huge maps.
It depends on how good I am at early culture, science and production. An Ashoka/Maurya starts usually results in one, maybe two wonders (usually Gate and Bell). An Augustus usually allows me to snag an early wonder like Hanging Gardens or a later wonder like Colosseum.
The only time I've actually *won* the Cultural Legacy path was in a game where I forgot to set my difficulty so i played on Viceroy without realizing it before it was too late.

Yeah the AI bonus on Wonder production needs to be removed. (they get access to it earlier from culture /science bonuses so AI players would still be competitive, just not as overpowered)
