One doesn't often hear too much about this particular form of art. But there is a new show called "Tracing the Milky Way" in Beijing featuring this impressive work: Leviathanation.

On the topic of Chinese modern art, I just read that Ai Weiwei was arrested in China for his anti-government activism. He was the artist who designed the stadium they used for the Beijing Olympics.
One of well known pieces is Sunflower Seeds at Tate Modern in London. It's a room filled will a hundred million hand painted porcelain sunflower seeds.
