Choosing a Paradox Game

About as significant as IN is over vanilla, I'd say. I only played the demo though. Gonna wait until they port MM to this. ;)

No ping ponging armies is by far the best improvement, along with a new casus beli system.
Yeah, casus belli system is awesome, but I also liked the concept of magistrates and cultural tradition. With combat balance it initially felt like theyve got the cart out from one roadside ditch and pushed it right into the other.

The ratio of forces had to be something like 10:1 in vanilla and 2:1 in IN - now it is 1:10. :crazyeye:
 
I like the frequent cultural assimilations too. It took me 350 years to make Thrace Serbian, but it was worht it

My computers are from 2004 and 2006, but I don't remember the exact specs. So yeah.

I leaning towards trying Victoria and Crusader Kings, the latter because of the historical period (tales about the difficulty trouble me) and latter because it seems kind of off-beat. What can you tell about that game?

I've listened to this podcast (which you should all be listening to anyway) about EU3, and I am bummed that I don't have the computing power up the snuff for playing that game.
