Cities in Development (Obsolete)

I'm getting tool tip errors when hovering over vanilla buildings like shrines or monuments. It gives me the path name to the Cities in Development EUI Override folder and 'attempt to call method (a nil value)' when I hover over one of the buildings. I'm using the CBP and the latest version of EUI. Anything I can do to fix this?

We need to wait for JFD to update the compatibility files

Rather not :(.

Does anyone have a mirror for version 44? Trying to revert to it but links dead and can't find it anywhere I search

Right now I think we'll have to wait until JFD updates to the latest CP.

Quick questions for running both this and Rise To Power at the same time.
The download instructions say

"Locate the Overrides folder in Documents\My Games\Sid Meier’s Civilization 5\MODS\JFD’s Cities in Development\Shared\Lua\UI\Overrides OR Documents\My Games\Sid Meier’s Civilization 5\MODS\JFD’s Rise to Power (v 12)\Shared\Lua\UI

Open the Enhanced User Interface folder therein.

Copy (do not cut) the contents of this folder, go back to the Overrides folder, and paste. Replaces the files as prompted."

Just want to confirm - when it says "open the Enhanced User Interface folder therein" I'm taking the files from the EUI folder in the DLC folder and coping them either RtP or CiD Overwrites folder ?

I don't believe you have to do anything like that anymore; instead, download the Compatibility Files in the OP.

Heres the link to the instructions:

https://jfdmodding.wordpress.com/general-modding/installing-mods/

Step 3 covers it.

So just to be clear, I should be running:

(6a) Community Balance Overhaul - Compatibility Files (EUI)
JFD's Rise to Power - EUI Compatibility Files (v 24)
& JFD's Cities in Development - EUI Compatibility Files (v 44)

While not deleting anything out of these files?

I question it because both JFD files replace NotificationPanel and TechButtonInclude.

v46:
  • Herbalist now increases Health on Flood Plains by +1.
  • Added Turns until GP spawns to the City View.
  • Updated UI files for the latest CP.
  • Horse Mill cost reduced to 200.
  • Can no longer train Settlers or Colonists during Plagues.
  • Fixed an issue wherein the AI did not receive Shackles from conquests.

Well it's nice to se that can no longer train settlers or colonists during plaques.I used that when i saw that i will lose citizens, plaque more than 10 turns.

Hey JFD. I really need your help here. I'm having some problems, not sure what is the cause, here are the logs and stuff you need in a zip file attached to the post + a screenshot of the mod list, also attached.

Thanks in advance, Husky :)

Question: Are the EUI comp files not updated on steam, cause they seem to remain the same version for me all the time even as the mod it self gets an update.

Already gave the attachments in Rise to Power forums so can't post them here again, they are over there, sry for the inconvenience

I can't seem to find an updated version of the Beta files? There is a regular version of Vox 6/15 but the Beta folder seems to be blank? Or are we just supposed to be using the regular CP now? Please advise.

As a rule of thumb, just download to the latest versions of the Patch, whether a beta or a regular release.

Currently there is no beta, and instead you just want the latest version of the CP.
