Working okayish with the CP Beta, but crimes won't display in the city view for some reason. Getting this in the Lua log:

Edit:
I can not see the Loyalty icon in the city banner of non-colony cities found by myself.
And for those cities, though Loyalty is showed up in the city screen, but no information box appear when I put the mouse on to it. But it is fine in the colony cities and conquered cities.

Like I said in the update notes, the city banner icon will only display Separatist or Rebellious, and will only update at the beginning of a new turn.

The new abilities for the Dignitaries and Magistrates look pretty interesting as well. If I understand correctly, higher ranked provinces will be more difficult to keep loyal and retain control over?

Do you plan on uploading CiD to the workshop once you've added Health? It seemed a little bizarre that Piety and ExCE are on steam whilst this is not.

I am unfortunately unable to use CiD, because whenever I pull up my city view, nothing is displayed to be built. I'm using EUI and Community Patch (Downloaded separately) as well as the mods listed below.

I ran the game unmodded with just EUI, and everything worked fine.

My guess is that there is some problem with the Community Patch (Or EE, but I that's one of those mods that I don't want to play without :p)

I forgot to say, but you'll need th latest beta of the CP to use this update. As Zwei was the only one who indicated that both CID worked and he had the latest update, I'm going to assume that this is the issue. Otherwise, I'll need some logs (database, too).
 
Is the lastest version of CP v.69? If yes I cant choose any production in my captial after founding.
I have just enabeld Merc v4, Piety v11, and E&D.
 
Indeed, Kesler, you need v72 of the CP - I should've paid attention to your screenshots :p Sukritact, I think your issue could be a bit more of a mod conflict, as your error suggests something is interfering with the Master file. Though maybe that's an outdated CP :p

On Plagues, I do believe named Plagues will not be a true feature - when a Plague emerges, it will be named in the notification, but this won't be something you can look up later. I've strived to make CID TSL free, and naming Plagues like this would otherwise require TSL. So I hope people are ok with this.

One issue I'm having is that Trading Posts don't seem to have a graphic anymore - or at least none of the ones in my current game do.

Edit; I noticed that the additional claim for similar culture types is automatically disabled. Has it just not been enabled or did it prove problematic to implement?
 
The Culture Claim hasn't been enabled for a while; I think JFD once mentioned that he didn't like it, or something.

I'm accumulating a small bug list already, hooray :D I think warscore is a little off, too. Thanks for the report.

I had a nice AI-only game in which Rome's capture of Copenhagen triggered a separatist movement in Kaupang (Denmark), causing barbarians to capture the city. It's the kinda cause and effect that I wanted from Loyalty, so its affirming :D

Of course, Rome was absolutely filthy; devastated by rampant Plagues. So Health is going to take some time to balance, because Rome's plague counter ran into the thousands xD "Build an Aqueduct you idiot!" I cried, but Caesar only wanted to conquer Denmark.

The Culture Claim hasn't been enabled for a while; I think JFD once mentioned that he didn't like it, or something.

Jan raised a good point that some city-states might have mismatched cultures, where their name has been updated such as via custom civ but not their culture. Additionally, it upset balance quite a bit, because the disparities were too large in some cases - there are far more Southern City-States than there are Polar.


On Great Dignitaries and Great Magistrates, I believe my solution will be with Sovereignty, Monarchies gain a free Great Dignitary when a Golden Age begins, whereas Republics get a Magistrate, and Theocracies can choose. And this thought came along the decision to not re-visit Prestige, as Golden Age Points do follow the same concept and so there is generally no need to burden myself with more work (I may rename 'Golden Age Points' to Prestige, but we'll see how viable that is). I would just look at a more diverse means of generating Golden Age Points/Prestige than as it stands. So, Kesler, Health > Prosperity > Sovereignty :D
 
Nope, as the only other Crime will be the Health one (Drug Abuse), which is a bit precarious to associate with a particular Organized Crime. Although I think Anarchism is probably really difficult to get, as Terrorism is the lowest of Crimes. But it's probably a bit precarious to claim Anarchists are Drug Abusers :p As it stands, calling them criminals by virtue of their anarchist beliefs could be construed as offensive (they being the only OC not defined by their actions - well, Mafia, I dunno...) :lol:
 
Tested out the recent update, and I'm really liking how things are coming together. Eagerly looking forward to Health. :D You said you're only naming the plagues in pop-ups, right?

Though I've only encountered two bugs, neither one is game-breaking. (No logs on me, I'll get them later :p) One seems that the civlopedia is messed up in an odd way (Game-concepts, techs, promotions seem fine, after that, it's blank pages. I had a handful of civs enabled, so it's probably one of them might be outdated.)

(Also, does Norway change Denmark's decisions? I just noticed in my game that Denmark only has one now)

Like I said in the update notes, the city banner icon will only display Separatist or Rebellious, and will only update at the beginning of a new turn.

I know, but:
1, though I began a few turns , the banner icon still didn't update.
2, In the city view of a founded city, when I put the mouse on the Loyalty, the detail-information box of loyalty doesn't appear. suppose to be?
 
On Great Dignitaries and Great Magistrates, I believe my solution will be with Sovereignty, Monarchies gain a free Great Dignitary when a Golden Age begins, whereas Republics get a Magistrate, and Theocracies can choose. And this thought came along the decision to not re-visit Prestige, as Golden Age Points do follow the same concept and so there is generally no need to burden myself with more work (I may rename 'Golden Age Points' to Prestige, but we'll see how viable that is). I would just look at a more diverse means of generating Golden Age Points/Prestige than as it stands. So, Kesler, Health > Prosperity > Sovereignty :D

I really like this new idea. Game play wise it sounds fun and balanced, and thematically makes sense.

I always thought it would be a better idea to download the Stable version of the CP. Is there any harm or risk of just getting the Beta version from now on?

Edit: How does one access the beta? Through Github only?
 
There was a feature listed under Provinces in the previous version that made non-capital cities puppets. It didn't actually work, but I liked how the concept sounded. But now it appears to have vanished without a trace. Does this mean this feature been cancelled? Shame, I liked the concept.

Also, the CBP actually has units named "Colonist" already. It seems that that colonist is overriding this one.
