You need to make sure you update to v3 of Events & Decisions.
It'd be difficult to tell which audio specifically caused this CTD, unless you can remember a specific Building being completed just before it crashed?
Oh, v3 released, I didn't notice.
I loaded autosave and made some screenshots:
First was taken just after loading:
There is only one building that is in about to end - Library in Cardiff city. Also, in Truro, Citizen will be born in 1 turn (and there is also sound after birth, right?).
Second taken 2 turns after first:
Leonardo's Workshop is in about to end, some border expanded too.
And guess what, no CTD. No sound error in logs. Maybe it was because of birth sound? (It's a random sound, after it right?)
Also, I noticed this:
This Great Scout hadn't possibility to found a colony, and when I embarked and back to land, he was still in the ship.
In previous game that crashed, that Great Scout was still travelling by the ship (and before that he wasn't able to settle anywhere, no button). There was second Great Scout that
had that button. Also, I had a Great General to the North-East, he had a "found Fort Colony" button, but was greyed out.
This time I came back to the sea and then to the land, and poof, settle button is back. (I was reporting problems with no settle button that could be related to embarking in Exploration Expanded thread some time ago)
Second Great Scout that had a button in crashed game, still had it in this game.
Great General had finally active found Fort Colony button.
And what happened with these Scouts? That one which was bugged (ship on the land) found a
City to the south of Edinburgh, not a Colony:
Strange, because it was 17 tiles away on small communitas map. Maybe it broke because I canceled building and hurried a production of Monument by spending a gold just after I settled?
Anyway, second Great Scout (that one that had an active button in the broken game) found a
Colony to the west of Edinburgh:
In this case after I found it, I closed a city screen, go back and then canceled building production and spent a gold.
