No longer needed, but if I already copied them from Overrides\EUI to Overrides, could they cause problems? :P
I think I misunderstood, Dallandra said that there is no 'Enhanced User Interface for CBP' folder. But there is 'Enhanced User Interface" folder and it's needed to copy all files from this folder to 'Overrides', as I always do, right?

This is correct, I forgot to mention that!

Hello,

I've been trying to get CiD to run with EUI, but the production queue keeps on breaking. Deleting my cache didn't work, I've copied the override files to where they need to go, I'm running the latest version of CBP's installer package (1.1.23) and v27 of CiD. Your mod looks like a lot of fun but I just can't seem to get it to work.

If you'd like me to provide log files or screenshots of my files, please let me know, I'd be happy to help you find out what's wrong.

Use one of the CBP betas from this month, JFD uses the current official version of EUI for compatibility files, while CBP 1.1.23 still uses a heavily outdated and modified version of EUI.

That worked! Thank you very much :)

I've been trying for a while now but I can't figure out what the fifth condition is for a strong claim on a city-state. Sphere of Influence resolution? Something else from the modern or later era?

According to the Wikia (before JFD removed the Claims section of the article, anyway):

Causes come from the following sources:
  • Having a long-term alliance (25 turns) with the City-State.
  • Having a Spy at the City-State.
  • Having a Pledge of Protection with the City-State.
  • Having completed the Patronage Finisher.
  • Being Austria (from their new UA).
  • Being the same Culture Type (with Cultural Diversity[3]).
  • Being in a Golden Age (with Cultural City-States).
  • Sharing a Sea Trade Route (with Maritime City-States).
  • Sharing a Land Trade Route (with Mercantile City-States).
  • Having an intimidating Military (with Militaristic City-States).
  • Sharing a (State) Religion (with Religious City-States).

Hm, I see. I have a feeling that the CBP compatibility option doesn't quite reach the Patronage/Statecraft tree, as it doesn't mention anything about another cause in the finisher. And I'm not using CulDiv right now as I seem to be missing something to make it work properly with the Neptunia civs. Sooo guess I am stuck with medium claims, oh well! Thanks for the list anyway.

Could you add a way to see what level an enemy city is? It's a bit annoying trying to attack a city without knowing if your units are out of range or not.

[Edit] I think that levies should get a penalty outside of your borders, or something similar, since it seems far to easy to capture AI cities using levies. The problem is that since the AI doesn't know to compensate for them, the levies can easily destroy an AI army, and counterattack far too easily (especially since Mercs will allow you to purchase some siege gear...)

[Edit2] Are offensive levies meant to have been fixed yet? They wouldn't be too bad if they were based off your tech, not your era, but getting 3 or so advanced units per city just for DoWing seems a bit OP.

I'll look into the Great Scout issue and add some print statements to catch any colony names that might be failing (there are too many to comb through it manually).

I'll be running some AI games to coax out this CTD. How do you know that it is caused by CID? In the meantime, I'd recommend turning off the Building construction sounds in the user settings to see if you can get through a game without this error.

Turn 183 and no errors* nor CTD yet.
*except errors from Piety

It's a very promising mod i would really like to play with it, but it's not working properly for me.

I have installed the community patch after that i have installed CiD, i am not using any other mods not even EUI.

I can make new games the only problem is that aparently i lack the health and loyalty mechanics completely.

Edit: Ok i think i just found out what was the problem. It seems the mod doesn't have all of its features enabled right from the start in it's files. (WIP maybe?)

Yup, you're right - Health hasn't been finished, and Loyalty is currently disabled as it is still being balanced.

What do you mean? I can't recreate any issue with receiving Levies on declaring war yourself. And you can't get 3 - max is 2, and that's only for Duchies, of which you usually only have 1-2.

Might it be because of city state allies? I'm pretty sure Putin had 2 or so city state allies, and so when I DoW'd him, I'd get units from their DoWs?

I got levies from an offensive DoW, sorta. I declared war on Mongolia. Mongolia had a defensive pact with the Ayyubids, so the Ayyubids DoW'd me as well. I got levies from that DoW.

It was actually pretty good for me, since the Ayyubids were on a completely different continent, so they posed no threat to me. All their DoW did was give me more musketmen to throw at Mongolia.

I got pulled into a war through defensive pacts, and I got no levies. Then, when I DoW'd someone else during that same war, I also didn't get any levies. I think we're going to need to do some scientific testing on this, and work out which circumstances lead to levies.

I also experienced a higher than normal amount of levies being raised, getting 4 free units at my capital when Djoser and his city state ally declared war on me. I'm assuming that the CS acted as a separate declaration, as I got two popups telling me that levies had been raised/disbanded
