Civ 4 Sucession Game Registration Thread!

I'm looking for 4-5 players to join TNT2.

Although I prefer to play on large maps (Epic speed), I can understand
players facing hardware problems.
So, an alternative setting could be Monarch/Emperor + standard map.

We're needing a extra player for DMI VII -BtS team, a game where we're going to compare the same leader in same map with the 3 versions of Civ IV ( as you can assume we're the BtS team ;) ). Some SG experience required....

As rolo said, we look for another player for DMI VII. You can contact rolo for the spot, if he doesn't mind taking unexperienced players, I have no problem with it. As he is the SG Captain he can decide this on his own :) .

Imhotep

Ok there are a couple of slots open in the next Instalment of the many leaders Game Series.

BTS Emperor aiming for a space win

Strictly first come first served.

Many leaders Game 6 Emperor Spaceman

Ralph

I'm looking for 1 more player for Spl02: Noob-Party. Prince level game, mostly random stuff. New players welcomed and encouraged (as long as you know the game). Should be a fairly straightforward SG.

Spots are filled, but backups are welcome...

EDIT: Experienced Player Slot taken.

Following on from last year's christmas themed sucession game, its time for a new one.

Game: Beyond the Sword
Leader: ???
Opponents: 6
Difficulty: Monarch maybe Prince
Map: Pangaea
Size: Standard
Speed: Normal
Options: Aggressive AI
Victory: All Enabled.

Variant rules:

At the end of every turnset (15 turns), we have to do whatever necessary to bring peace to the world (in any war we are involved in and any AI-AI war).
We can never declare on the AI or join in an AI-AI war.
If we are declared on, we can take any AI cities we want but remember rule #1.

Just to clarify, if its possible to get peace (by gifting techs, money or cities) we MUST do it. We can negotiate the terms if we want. If the AI will accept peace for free, that's acceptable, if they'll give us something that's acceptable, we just have to bring peace to the world.

Yes, yes, you're all saying how easy is this? There won't be any war even with Agressive AI. Sorry, didn't I mention, I (or someone else) am going to worldbuilder the start so that all 7 (us and 6 opponents), start with a religion from the first turn, meaning from the get go, the AI will hate each other.

Sign me up. I'm down to 3 sg's now. (lost in MLG 05  ) And one will be over quite soon. I think i can handle 4 over the break.

Could you by any chance pick some religous fanatics for the game? (ie: izzy, saladin, zara etc)

what will you name this - bend over and pull down your pants?

have you actually TESTED this variant in SP?

Who needs testing :p

Shouldn't be as hard as last year's game where we had to accept every AI demand without question and we won that pretty easy.

Doesn't seem to have sparked any interest, so I think I'll let it die and never speak of it again.

Main thread

I'm new to Civ in general played a little with Civ 3 and got Civ4 Gold and BtS for Christmas. I've been lurking a number of SG threads and would like to start a training SG, or at least one where I can ask lots of questions. :)

I'd like to have at least one experienced player if not more to help any newbies besides myself get a better feel for the game.

Difficulty: Noble
Civ + Leader: Carthaginian/Hannibal
Map Type: Continents
Map Size: Large
Map Speed: Epic
Number of AI Civ's: 5
All other settings would be normal

Normal SG Ettiquette will apply:
- You have 24 hours to say that you have the save and can play your turns, and 48 hours after that to post the new save, along with your turn report. (Please post if you will not be around, so we can save time and automatically skip you.)
- Your turn report should be fairly detailed, and have pictures. It should not be a copy and paste of an auto-log.
- Don't automate anything!
- If you have to make a major game decision which has not been discussed, please consult with the group first.
- Use common sense.

I'm not sure what settings are best. I've only played a few games so far, but do have a good feel for how to play. I'm not sure what difficulty level to set it for, I can beat the game on Warlord but that's the highest I've tried so far.

Looking for more players for my stalled succession game Kings of Unfair. We currently have a tech lead over everyone and own about 40% of the world. We have great land and a great civ/leader combination (Dutch/Elizibeth) in the industrial age.

We have 2 active and one vacationing player so any help to push it to the end would be great.
