I believe Fireaxis Taizong is not in CivGold, as I remember spending time brutally making my own XML files for it, as the easy solution (Taking it from CIVGOLD) was not available for whatever reason. Not 100% sure though.
@Huayna: No, Taizong is not it there (yet), and Ekmek's old Wu. The one that became the Trung sisters lately
@TheLastOne: IMO, if Wyz have some time, there should be a patch soon with the most obvious LH-s: Taizong, Ataturk, Trungs, Ibn Saud, Menelik II, Ashurbanipal, etc... (I made a few lists of them earlier), and maybe we could start balancing the UB-s and UU-s in this patch.
And then there could be a complete one with all the upcoming LH-s a few months later.
one prob i have with alot of these civs are balance issues
example- the trojan civ has a shock pike with 7 instead of 6 strength? why play Charlemagne then?
on the positive i like some of the civs using other units as their unique unit- (assyrian battering ram-for the catapult) - more of a push in that direction - explorer uu ect.
no problem. but when you get back into updating civgold i recommend check out the LH download section for updates. We have an army of great LH makers out there now!
Yes, and with the CivGold Civilization database, you can now check which leaders you need or not, as I believe you were missing out on some great leaderheads due to being disorganized. (And I don't blame you, with over 130 civilizations and much more leaderheads, I would be overwhelmed myself)
When I try to run the mod, I get an enormous number of XML loading errors - all as far as I could tell related to artdefines files. I checked several of the artdefines files, and found they all referenced non-existent XXXXX_ArtDefinesSchema files where "XXXXX_" was the name of the particular unit / leader / etc.
Update:
I should have mentioned that the mod download is described as version 5.2, rather than the version 5.1 announced in the first post on this thread.
Also that I'm running BTS 3.19 under Vista.
Also, it turns out it isn't just the artdefines files that are generating loading errors....
