It was working for me when I downloaded it last month.

Something is not right with download from Gamefront.
Pre-download, sort of, starts, and then it's - Forbidden 403.

I'm using FF.

The same problem. Both with FF and google chrome

GameFront policies don't allow downloading from some countries, like Italy or France.
To override this limitation I use TunnelBear, that in the free version lets me download 500MB per month - enough for Rise of Empires.

I am not good at uploading files, so I put it on WeTransfer. Two things have been changed - I have fixed a bug with titanium, and now it is possible to build new era units, and the graphic is slightly different. I hope you find it works!

For some reason i cant get it work. Game opens without UI.. any idea what could cause this?

Hi rtt4A! Sorry to hear that. I experienced this problem too with RoE 3.5 and other mods such as Thomas' War (you can't enter options menu and civilopedia too).

Anyway, I experienced this problem when playing on Steam and Complete Civilisation versions. I can launch this mod on my oldest Civ version only (each expansion pack in a separate box and BtS updated manually up to 3.19v). I do not know why this is happening. Some players indicate problems with Python language so I tried to change the configuration file in RoE but it did not help. Maybe updating your Civ up to 3.19 helps (even if you have already this version it might be sensible to launch 3.19 update).

Let me know, please, if you find any of these helpful.

tested all tricks in those discussions but still no luck
I dont use steam but have complete Civilisation version and I also had this same problem with Thoma´s war.
Its python related for sure but so far dont know how to fix.

Thanks for help anyway, ill be back if I find out something.
