Priesthoods because of Ziggurat. Horseback Rididng (12 I believe)

Now let's see:

1. Archery unlocks Archer, Skirmisher, Bowman, Longbowman, Crossbowman, Cho-Ko-Nu, Horse Archer, Numidian Cavalry, Keshik, Camel Archer ie 10 units.

Rifling unlocks Rifleman, Redcoat, Infantry, Marine, Navy SEAL, Paratrooper, Tank, Panzer, Mechanized Infantry, Cavalry, Cossack ie 11 units.

Horseback Riding unlocks Horse Archer, Numidian Cav., Keshik, Knight, Camel Archer, Cataphract, Conquistador, Cuirassier, Cavalry, Cossack, War Elephant, Ballista Elephant ie 12 units.

So, Horseback riding unlocks the maximum number of units in the game. Although, you can see that for any particular civ that you are playing, Rifling will win hands down. That's why I specifically said to include all civs.

2. Corporation unlocks all 7 corporation buildings + Wall Street ie 8 buildings.

Masonry unlocks Walls, Dun, Aqueduct, Hammam, Baray, Pyramids, Great Lighthouse, Great Wall ie 8 buildings.

Meditation unlocks all 7 monasteries.

Music unlocks all 7 cathedrals + Sistine Chapel ie 8 buildings.

Priesthood unlocks all 7 temples + Oracle PLUS the clincher ie the Ziggurat, which makes it 9 buildings for it. So, Priesthood is the correct answer!

Note that Meditation and Priesthood also unlock Buddhism's and Hinduism's holy shrines respectively, but that would still make Priesthood as the winner.

So you are right Bob the Barbari. Ask away :)

Nothing interesting comes to my mind so: which resource can give you the most :)?

Nah, any resource really. Use it to research Future Tech a million times... you'd have to be extremely patient though... to research it the quickest though, use gold.

I'm not sure what Matthew5117 had in mind but I meant incense, so it's Joshua368's turn.

lol. I meant that you could use a resource's commerce to research Future Tech a million times, and since Future Tech gives you one :) everytime you research it, you would get a million :).

Okay, here we go. Remember you can't look up the answer. :p

Name all of the "dead-end techs" that are not required to reach Fusion or Future Tech. During this tech path, assume:

- You take Priesthood to obtain Monarchy
- You take Philosophy to obtain Nationalism
- You take Computers to obtain Superconductors and Fiber Optics

Hint: There are 25 techs you won't need to reach your targets.

Archery, Divine Right, Liberalism, Mass Media, Ecology, Commuunism ,Fascism ,Democracy, Drama, Theology, Mysticism, CoL, Monotheism, Mil Trad, Music, Drama, Literature, Hunting, Horseback Riding, Masonry, Refridgeration, Animal Husbandry, Military Science, Robotics, Aesthetics and Laser. Hmm, that is more than 25

Just a thought, I was technically right on that last question. Technically. Ivory=units which under Hereditary Rule is x happiness. That's more than copper or iron because Ivory= x +1 while any other resource is it =x.

lol at the last post.

And you seriously know that answer from the top of your answer.

Sorry Naruto but some of those techs are required! :king:

Edit: Also Naruto technically the answer is Corn which supplies a lot of food which can be used to whip units who can then capture resources from other civs such as coal which lets you build coal plants to supply power to quickly build the Cristo Redentor which lets you painlessly switch between Universial Suffrage and Hereditary Rule so you can rushbuy dozens of units for maximum happiness!!!

But I said gold! Which gives you an infinite amount of happiness because you research Future Tech a million times!

Ok, taking a shot here:
Archery, Divine Right, Liberalism, Mass Media, Ecology, Communism ,Fascism ,Democracy, Drama, CoL, Monotheism, Mil Trad, Music, Literature, Horseback Riding, Refrigeration, Military Science, Robotics and Laser

That's only 19. :mischief:

Whatever. I was trying to figure out a viable I could use answer from what Nautro had used, but as I was taking some away because they didn't make sense, I got carried away and was too lazy to fix it. Finally, since I needed a reason to post that reply (as in not make it spam), I kept the answer there anyways.

Next guess: :P
Archery, Divine Right, Mass Media, Ecology, Commuunism ,Fascism ,Democracy, Drama, Theology, Mysticism, CoL, Monotheism, Mil Trad, Music, Drama, Literature, Hunting, Horseback Riding, Masonry, Refridgeration, Animal Husbandry, Military Science, Robotics, Aesthetics and Laser?

Edit: Wait, he said "some" were wrong, eh, who cares? Its not like I am going to get the right answer...

Nope, not quite. ;) There's a pretty obvious error in there, as well as a few more tricky ones.

I'll help give specifics if more people guess incorrectly...

First shot:
animals line: hunting, archery, animal husbandry, horseback riding, agriculture (5)
religion line: poly, mono, theo, d. right (4)
aesthetics line: aesth, drama, lit, music, military trad (5)
civics dead end: democracy, communism, liberalism, fascism (4)

still 7 remaining; I'm really not an expert in the end of the game... I'd say at least refrigeration, mass media and military science; perhaps also laser and robotics?

That would still make 2 missing

Jujulautre has made most of the gusses, so...

My guess would be:

- hunting, archery, animal husbandry, horseback riding, agriculture (5)
- polytheism, monotheism, theology, divine right (4)
- aesthetics, drama, literature, music, military tradition (5)
- democracy, communism, liberalism, fascism (4)
- military science, refrigeration, mass media, laser, robotics (5)

Apart from this, I think that you will also have Ecology. But that still makes it only 24. Either I am missing something or the question is wrong. I just can't come up with anything else.
