[CiV Vanilla] GoodyHuts and Handicaps dll questions

Question1:
Are the Barbarian GoodyHut entries still viable?
ie. If the XML is correctly expanded to check (Iterate) around the Goody Plot and drop the Barb units in
'GOODY_BARBARIANS_WEAK' & 'GOODY_BARBARIANS_STRONG',
will it work? is the C++ code still present for these entries?
Also LOW_GOLD & HIGH_GOLD?

Question2:
How are the odds calculated for which Goody is selected when called from the Handicaps?

In Civ4 it was calculated according to the total number of choices.
ie. if there were 20 different entries then one Goody choice had a 5% chance of coming in.
If subsequently one Modded the number and entered the same entry 5 times in a total of 15 choices in the Handicaps, then that entry had a 33.3% chance of coming in and if you played Deity IIRC 1/2 the time you'd get a Barbarian coming out of the woodwork to fight you. (5 Barbarians out of a total of 10 entries).

Is this still the case? If not how are the odds calculated?
