Civ VII PC system requirements are now available!

Pretty sure I saw Sarah say somewhere there were no current plans for a demo?
Yep, she said there will be no demo.

But if you buy it on steam, you can ask to be reimbursed in the next 14 days after purchase and has been played for less than 2 hours if you put as motive "computer can't run it".

A recent problem with another game makes me worried that my graphics card isn't good enough to play CIV 7. I do not know if it is the equivalent of the GPU noted in CIV 7's minimum requirements. I have the Intel UHD on a 1.5 year old laptop. Screen shot of the specs is attached. Please advise.
Laptops can also have discrete gpu even they have also intel uhd. But I guess you know you bought ”office laptop” and not any kind of ”gaming laptop” that could have also dgpu?

If you got ”office” version your gaming outlook does not look very good.

Very nice thanks - should be able to play well enough on my M4 iMac

Civ is usually more CPU heavy than GPU heavy if I’m not mistaken.
Since Apple showcased the game when introducing the new iMac last month, I imagine it will be optimized for the system.

Computers are so much more complicated nowadays... Seeing the "requirements" for CIV7 isn't helpful to me.
Do you think I will run into issues with my setup?

I know you put a DxDiag file, but I don't really feel comfortable downloading random files from users.

Try this:
Hit the Windows key to open up system search
Type "Device Manager"
Click to expand the "Display Adapter" tree and report what it says

I picked up a (relatively) good deal with on an open box Vivobook with a 4060 and an i9. Yes, it's overkill for what I mainly will be doing with it (I'm telling myself it's a backup for work and some Lightroom).

It’s a 3060.
