civ3ptw hangs

When I played this game about 1.5 years ago, it was working fine. I decided to play the game again, but now it hangs. When playing, after sometime it just hangs. I don't know why. Any ideas?

PC Then:
PIII 600
Geforce2 MX200 32MB
256MB
Civ3PTW 1.21
WINXP

PC Now:
PIII 744 (same processor but overclocked)
Geforce2 MX400 64MB
448MB
Civ3PTW 1.27 (i tried uninstalling 1.27 then installed 1.21, but it still hangs)
WINXP SP1

More information would be helpful. When does it hang? Does it appear to happen at the same time? Could it be another program messing with PTW?

I think I fixed it already. I think the problem was on the processor because it was overclocked. The temp became so high. So, I didn't overclocked it now. After that, I haven't experienced any hangs/freezes/lockups. Anyways, thanks for the reply!
