Well, I have gone over the list of fixes, changes and additions and-overall-I really like what I see. In particular I like:
1) Representation and Free Market: Sorry guys, but I happen to feel that these NEEDED to be nerfed a bit-they were always too much of a no-brainer, and tended to generate a 'cascade effect' for players that got it first. From a realism point of view, Rep should be more expensive, 'coz those pollies and those elections are expensive! However, I think State property should be High Maintainance because....well THINK about it

. I also think that Mercantilism should reduce the distance costs of cities, given that was its historical role!
2) Forest chopping: I hang my head in admitting that I REALLY exploited the forest chop a LOT. Again, pre-1.61 chopping all your forests was a no-brainer, and in a Wonder race, I could easily make up for the lack of a critical resource if I was lucky enough to have a lot of forests on hand. At least now I have to be a little more strategic about it!
3) Reduced Memory usage: Well anything which maintains the speed of the game for a longer period has got to be good!
4) Python changes: As someone who is trying to get into modding, opening up more features to Python will help me a LOT, so this is a great change-only wish they had done the same thing to XML.
Just one thing, though, I REALLY wish they would swap the abilities of the Pyramids and Parthenon. Think about who BUILT the Parthenon-the GREEKS-a people who experimented with almost every government type imaginable before they ever gained widespread acceptance-wheras I can see the Pyramids being inspirational to a nation by boosting great people points! Costs would need to be altered accordinly though!
