Civ4 Temporary Leave Announcement Thread

I have my laptop back from the shop, rather than wait until Monday I said I'd do the updates (yuck!). I'll be getting the drivers and updates all weekend then installing all of my games. Sorry for the delay, just a few more days

Not going anywhere but I thought I would post it here ... well, because I have to post it somewhere ...

No pbem's for ages and now I have 4 sitting in my inbox waiting for me to play. Mark this day down for I doubt I will see it again this year.
 
I'm going to be gone from later today (20th) until the 29th of this month.

I won't have any access to a computer with Civilization while I am gone, but I will be able to periodically check my email.
 
I'm unfortunately very busy with real life matters right now, I hope I'll be able to play my turns by Sunday.
 
I'll be away from 28 December through 14 January. I may or may not take a lap top to play turns.

Given the frequency of turns in all of the games I'm in I don't think getting a temporary replacement will increase the overall turn rate.
 
On family vacation from tomorrow Jan 20, 2017, through Jan 31, 2017. Won't be playing turns until then. Sorry all. But I am caught up as of today at least!
 
I'll be gone from home for a few days and probably won't play any turns, or if I do only for games without mods or those that are included with the game. I'll probably play them this weekend or Monday at the latest.

I am going for a short break soon and won't be able to play Civ in that time.

I shall be back the latest by June 20th.

Hey, he only sent that three days ago, nobody can expect me to forward a message so short notice! Matter of fact, I only noticed it five minutes ago and came to this thread to pass it on. :lol:
 
I only have one week left to finish my bachelor's thesis, so I make no promises that I will find the time to play any turns during the next seven days.

I'll be with limited email acess from now until the end of July. I will very restricted 'clearance' to play Civ, even if allowed to read emails...
 
So I got one piece of good news, and two pieces of bad news surrounding those good news like a sandwich or an Oreo or something.

Bad news: Due to my general incompetency I was not able to finish my thesis by the deadline.

Good news: My professor, generous soul that he is, was willing to give me one more week time to hand it in.

Bad news: Of course that also means yet another week of me being too busy to play larger turns.
