CivDip XIII - Dancing with the Devil!

Orders due Monday, 28 February @ 2359 GMT.

NOTE: Please PM them to me to be certain they are in on time.

Looking good, but Arminius can you send out an e-mail when you do post results?

For Spring 1901 I've done the honours ;)

France will be unable for comment on Saturday due to a dinner party and a bottle of Merlot with her name on it.

Will do. (10)

Sunday is a toss up for me as I have obligations at Church (leaving shortly after 8 am) until mid afternoon and a family gathering that night. I'll get online to do my e-mail that night when I get home though.

♠ Holland, Ho!
English soldiers standoff the German Imperial Army in Holland, but are powerless to stop the invasion of neutral Belgium.

♠ Iberia!
The French consume the entire peninsula.

♠ Scandinavian Showdown?
Still hot property, Sweden sees a showdown without a winner. Norway, on the other hand is witness to a picture perfect amphibious assault by the Royal Marines.

♠ Replay…
Austria is attacked in exactly the same way. However, after checking to make sure I wasn’t watching Spring Re-runs, I discovered that the Russians have laid claim to Galicia!

♠ Greece Falls!
The Italians make good on their promise to liberate Greece with, get this, Austrian assistance.

A furious row broke out in the German Reichstag this evening as news of England's perfidy came in. While some rather unbalanced opposition members were heard to shout feverish chants of "Francais is a Pudding Head" and "Limey Go Home", cooler heads prevailed, and the Chancellor sent police into the streets to dispel the spontaneous tea-dumping riots that had broken out there.

The Chancellor awaits the Rt. Honourable Prime Minister's explanation for his attempted invasion.

Glad to be of assistance in any way, Italy ;) ...but why the H*** did Russia go for Galicia again, and Turkey go for Greece?

I want that army removed, Russia!

Have to say these deadlines seem to roll in thick and fast as I'm getting nothing by e-mail warning me of them :(

I was within 1 hour 40 minutes of an NMR!!!

Edit: Ah, the e-mail was in the junk box...:p

Edit2: What nonsense I've been typing, I have over 24 hours to the deadline, for some reason I thought this was Wednesday...lol, I wish!

Dreadnbought I thought our bounce deal was still on, I will withdraw this turn, sorry for any misunderstanding.

Sheep2...I am sorry that I got mad...I should have told you it was for the first turn. I thought you were openly attacking me...haha  So just withdraw to Warsaw/Ukarine and all will be fine.

Crowds assemble in Rome, Florence, Naples, Venice, and Athens to cheer and celebrate as members of a Greek delegation sign a treaty of unification with Italian statesmen. The flag of Italy flutters high above the rooftops of Greece, often raised just above an Austrian flag to show gratitude to and solidarity with the brave and virtuous Austro-Hungarian people and government. The Risorgimento, and the spirit of Italy, are alive and well. Woe to all who threaten the youthful and burgeoning Kindgom of Italy.

It seems that Austria has taken a side, and it's not mine. It looks like I have a fight on my hands...

Builds are in, have a look:

Multitudes of joyous Italians throng the piers of Naples as a vast and newly assembled fleet embarks on its maiden voyage. Officers, freshly trained and highly disciplined at the Italian Naval Academy, wave a proud and dignified farewell to their loved ones and admirers. The common crew and seamen sing lewd but prophetic songs of Italian fleets sending their enemies to the seafloor and their flags high above the capitals of Europe. The Mediterranean shall become Mare Nostrum once more, and woe to those who stand to oppose the Kingdom of Italy, for they shall fall as wheat before the scythe!

In the words of that most famed giant feline, The Dreaded Woe Kitten:
WOE
UNTO
THEE.
(I will be astonished and amused if anyone knows what that's from.)

By the way, when are the next orders due?

Orders due Saturday, 5 March @ 2359 GMT!

This sounds like an interesting game
Instead of more of the same
I think I shall try my luck
and hope my poetry won't suck

I'm interested in playing,
And some of you may call me Tom.
my e-mail as I was saying:
gnarfflinger at gmail dot com!

Here at redscape, I am new.
My presence not yet felt.
But joining this game could be the thing to do
to put a notch in my knife belt...

Hey Gnarfflinger, can you do some poetry here, too?
