Civfanatics Down?

What I the only one affected, I couldn't get on til now. I see a gap in posts from 6:14 A.M.PST to 2:30P.M.PST. Does anyone know what happened.

You weren't the only one affected, the site was down for everyone. A similar thing happened last year, I think it has something to do with the servers although I'm not 100% sure (it did last time). Also, this is probably going to be moved to the site support section

And in addition, the web site that tracks weather internet sites are up or down reported it was down during that time as well.

I checked 2 sites that checks if internet pages are up or down. one said up the other said down

When I finally got back to CFC, there were tons of people on already, so I thought it was only me having problems.

A note in Tavern about the downtime would be nice

Well, last tweet was a year ago so don't expect any updates for a long time. Same goes for Facebook

Was it just this site or all of atomic gamer, since I've encountered an outage about a week ago when it was all of atomic gamer's sites that were down.

I had a similar problem, can't remember what time it was but it was probably the time that Jerman said.

Yep, same here, couldn't log in most of yesterday. Imagine if that had happened to coincide with some info reveal - you knew, for example, that civs were being revealed but couldn't log into the site!
