It saddens me to say this, but the civ2-community here is not what it used to be. I remember the old days when everyone was here. Now everybody has moved to CDG or Apolyton. The once highly active PBEM section are now completely eradicated
Anyway, CivFanatics still has the biggest collection of CivII scenarios around. I would like to see it continue that way, but all Thunderfall seems to be publishing is civIII stuff at the main page. I've PMed him three times with three new scenarios.
First I PMed him with a subscription for Blitzkrieg 1942 - The last chapter : http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=89847
Then with Blitzkrieg 1936 v.2 : http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=92822
And now with La Belle Epoque : http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=95407
Never heard anything...
The last one I sent today, so I don't expect much at once. But still, it's not good. Something needs to be done. I never got a chance to use the Civ II subscription thread Thunderfall made before he deleted it, because 'no one was using it'. Personally I would like to see it relived.
This criticism is all ment in a good way. It needs to be said to keep the little steam that is left in the civ2-communinty at CFC alive, in a civ3 dominated world :suicide:
