Thanks - even managed to fix a few of those instantly - the Brood Chambers are supposed to be GraphicalOnly (not displayed in the 'pedia) because of the way it works. Details about the Broodchamber are in the Mother's Nest entry (as it's technically an add-on building, which is why there is a space at the start - it sits under the nest on the city screen).

Quite a few of the missing entries are for FfH2 units/buildings - so I'll check that we've got a full GameText from there for starters...

It appears these buildings were cut out in the first post:

Vault Gate: TXT_BUILDING_KAHDI_GATE_STRATEGY, TXT_BUILDING_KAHDI_GATE_PEDIA
Warrens: Empty Entry
Wyvern Monastary: Empty Entry

I assume the "Monastary" is a spelling Error. It should have been Monastery.

most improvements have no descriptions at all.

Yes, I did notice this. And there are those removed from FFH2 that are still in FF and are left without any text, also.

Can I suggest that the Khadi vault gate be given top priority here?

For most buildings, it's fairly obvious how they work from the tooltips, and the pedia is just nice extra info, but for the vault gate, the pedia entry is Critical to being able to use it, and crippling to not have. The tooltips don't tell you what gives creatures. or when. or how many.

also, I'd be happy to help write a few pedia entries, if info is needed.

The entries are enclosed in quotes for emphasis...

Civilizations
Illians: Very very short description...
Ljolsalfar: Just a bit more than the Illians...
Mercurians: Does not mention how they get their angels, nor anything related to how you play it, when they come etc...
Sidar: Approx the same size description as the Ljolsalfar...

The civilization traits should be explained in this page, IMO. If I know Ljolsalfar are Dextrerus, does me no good if I do not know what this is. This would make it easier for a player to choose a civ to play, IMO.
Also, lore is great(when described) but a bit more in-game information about each civ would help new players more.

Leaders
Decius: Empty Entry
Tasunke: Empty Entry

Religions
Counsil of Essus: Does not list the Units/Buildings it allows
Empyrean: Does not list the Units/Buildings it allows

Civics
No MemberShip: TXT_KEY_CIVIC_NO_MEMBERSHIP_PEDIA
Sacrifice the weak: States it halves the food consumption, yet it displays "1.50 instead of 2"

Note: Only some new civics actually have information. All others have NONE

Rituals
Pax Diabolis: No useful info. It says nothing about prereqs and effects
Genesis: Could use a description of what is improved to what
Nature's Revolt: No FF content. The description is the one from FFH. Completelly inaccurate
Rites of Oghma: I suspect the same thing. I do not know what it does in FF!! :(

FFH Concepts
The Illians are listed to have "not available" worldspell in the "worldspells" section.

The information on the WetLands/Deep Jungle is nice, as well as the description of the Scions' Mechanics. However, the Scions' mechanics have changed, somewhat ;), and the info has to be updated. And should include the creeper cycle, as well.

Finaly, the removal of base BtS hints that do not apply in FF from the hints page would also be a nice thing to do. :)

I hope these lists have helped to pin the exact locations of missing entries!

Oh, and about spelling errors...

I noticed that the leader of the Animal Packs barbarian faction is "Cernunnos". Shouldn't it be "Cerunnos" ?

Some of those are actually really easy. The Kahdi gates even have a helptext that, last time I looked, wasn't linked up to them in the base game.

The Risen Emperor: It must be a joke...It reads "The Risen Emperor"

I remember writing more - something about a Scion army coming into sight with the RE at its head. The speaker goes and gets drunk. Seems gone now... Sound familiar to anyone? I'm wondering if it's misplaced rather than deleted, and either hiding in a different file or is part of an entry for something else.

Note that this is the civilopedia entry for the Hero. The entry for the leader is a different thing. The hero "The Risen Emperor" has just this text.

Right - what I remember isn't in the leader text either.

Right - what I remember isn't in the leader text either.
But it is in the entry for the hero.

EDIT: Weird, the entry for the Risen Emperor (hero) is empty. I remember reading the entry you just described in his entry.

At which patch was it? It was not in the v.042 of FF, I just reinstalled it to check. I looked through the texts folder...It is just the same entry as now..I have nearly all patches..If you just remember a patch it was in, I can retrieve it.

But it is in the entry for the hero.

EDIT: Weird, the entry for the Risen Emperor (hero) is empty. I remember reading the entry you just described in his entry.

Just saw your EDIT. Glad I did because I was getting confused. :) Any idea what version # you read it in? (I'm pretty sure it's before 050.)

At least I didn't put it in my working copy but neglect to upload it. That was seeming likely.

FF043 (base), patches D and F had no additional info about the Risen Emperor. Your manual for the scions have extra info for the hero The Risen Emperor.

I just realised that my lists may be incomplete. The one for the spells is for sure.
It appears that many of the spells do not display a text in the list appearing when you choose an icon from the "Spells and Abilities" list.

One of them is Regeneration: TXT_KEY_SPELL_REGENERATION_HELP is undefined, IIRC.

It seems I will have to check the icons list to track down this issue, also.

Alrighty, I've re-done the RE's entry. (Incorporating "Hawkwood", after the only other person who may have seen the first one. The entry is on the wiki.)

So if you find the old one don't tell me, I don't want to know. :)

Some of those are actually really easy. The Kahdi gates even have a helptext that, last time I looked, wasn't linked up to them in the base game.

Do you remember where this is? (About 1/2 the Scion entries were like that - the text was written but not used.)
