Civilization Request Thread

I've played enough CS: GO to know that even the Argentinians hate one another.

Nope, you played too much CS:GO.
How about a CS civ?

That's... literally impossible.

No, seriously. CS is played round-by-round and the factions (CTs vs Ts) are very real or at least based in reality (ranging from the SWAT to the GSG-9 to the IDF).

I'm not sure how I feel about the Israeli "defense forces"(:mischief:) being compared to the SWAT...

(Also, you talk like a Portuguese, civ- loving version of one of the kids in my class...)

Those are some of the factions present and they fall into different maps. Not together. Don't blame me.

Don't feel bad. There was a reality TV show in the States shortly after 9/11 that had the Rangers, Seals, NSA forward teams, and a couple other groups that thought they were hardcore competing in paramilitary challenges. The last and most ridiculed group of the challengers was L.A. SWAT.

L.A. SWAT won every single challenge easily. Why? Because they do what they do for real on a regular basis, as opposed to just repeated training exercises.

H, I fancy police TV series.... Ane you might remember the name?
Also, did someone do the Sassanids?

Yi (Piluoge)
Start Bias: Hills
Capital: :c5capital: Mengshe Zhao
UA: Nuohuo
Gain a bonus to :c5greatperson: Great People Generation in Cities equal to the :c5faith: Religious Pressure of your Religion in that City. :greatwork: Great Works of Writing generate +2 :c5faith: Faith.
UU: Bimo (replaces Great Prophet)
Upon the expenditure of a Bimo, gain a flat amount of :c5greatperson: Great Writer points and earn them 5% faster (to a maximum of 50%).
UB: Jiertijie (replaces Amphitheatre)
In addition to having two slots for :greatwork: Great Works of Writing, the Jiertijie also lowers :c5angry: Unhappiness in non-Occupied Cities. However, it may only be built in Cities connected to the :c5capital: Capital and is more expensive to produce than the Amphitheatre it replaces.

EDIT: ... Wow, these look so small on a monitor that's actually decent. =]

What about Berk from How To Train Your Dragon? I think that might be an interesting civilization. They could have a Dragon Rider unique unit that's basically a weaker version of a fighter plane you get in the middle ages.

Very nice design. The only weak point is that there isn't really anything to help a person get a religion before other civilizations.

Well, I had to balance it somehow. =]

Reworked the UA to give more of an early game boost to your religious output - your UB is going to benefit from it, you can get said UB free with Legalism, and your Palace starts with it. It's not super-powerful, but it does help ensure a pantheon, which is basically the first step to a decent religion. =]

What do you guys think of this?

Rashidun Caliphate
Abu Bakr

Sword of Islam
Can build mosques after discovering theology. Units gain experience equal to triple the :c5faith: Faith output of the city they were produced in (capped at +30).

Mubarizun (Swordman)
Stronger than Swordman it replaces (16 :c5strength: vs 14 :c5strength:), nearby Enemy Units recieve a 20% penalty to their :c5strength: Combat Strength if a Mubarizun has recently defeated a unit.

Bayt al-mal (Market)
In addition to the benefits of the Market it replaces, it provides +1 :c5happy: Happiness and increases the :c5gold: Gold gained from capturing a city or pillaging a tile by 10%.

No. nonononono. Remove the cap, make the XP equal to the amount of faith in a city. No point at making them able to build the highest faith producing religious building and then capping the XP. Other than that: looks fine.

Dude, that would be stupidly op. (I still would remove the triple part)

I don't see the need in such caps... Its not like you can get tons of faith in any city. Or tons of gold from pillaging.

Your Capital/Holy city will always generate the greatest portion of faith on your empire, see this picture for example:
