Lizzy, Queen of the HOMBT, paced the palace frantically, desperate for word of the battle, yet dreading the outcome she knew the news would bring her.

The surviving axemen who withstood the earlier onslaught against the walls of New Raisinville had re-equipped, and given fair and proper promotions. Still, nobody held any illusions about the future, and one by one they spoke "aye" when their commander suggested the assail the enemy, dying gloriously for Queen and country in battle against the swordsmen of the sand. West they marched, into the hills they reverently named The Lizzy Hills, and into the jaws of certain death.

Meanwhile, back at the castle with our frantic Queen, a tower guard shouts the alarm! An axeman running fast and hard towards the castle! The Queen ran down to the courtyard just as the axeman entered the gates...

Spoiler :

"For Queen and Country, VICTORY! New Raisinville is saved!", said the axemen, and then he collapsed as his beloved Queen's feet, his heart burst from the strain of the run from the Hills of Lizzy to the court.

From this day forth, marathons shall no longer be called marathons. Henceforth, they shall be known as Lizzythons!

The commander of the sand swordsmen, indeed the entire unit, fought honorably and died bravely, and in honor of such bravery, we shall allow the unit standard to be returned to the Capital city of the people of the sand igloos under flag of truce.

Aparantly, you can use your Civ4 disc for this game and your Warlords disc for playing Warlords.

Ditto. I imagine most of the players are, so if there is a compatibility problem then we may have to restart. I doubt there will be though (I trust Firaxis to have seen and dealt with the potential problem for Pitboss and PBEM).

I'll be picking up Warlords ASAP as well. I haven't seen anything authoritative about running 'vanilla' games after getting it; as soon as I do I'll post here and we'll figure out how to adapt this game, if necessary.
