Just another reminder to everyone - please remember to finish your turn before you log out, given that we've all agreed to no-DMs there's really no reason to avoid doing so. With only seven players remaining, the odds are pretty good that we'll save a bunch of times on turns...

No reason, other than to say that I made it past the Super Bowl without dying. I know I'm dead. I'm just trying to make it to a specified date, you know, cause then maybe I win something.

Secondly, after this concludes, let's start a team-game

Thirdly, I have seen Ybbor, Sparta, and Igloo units. Where's Davo? Man, he's got to win the record for the most USELESS ally.

He should be called "Wonder Davo 40" aka WD-40.
Davo's building all the wonders while these guys are pounding on us and becomes a little slippery as we get our brains kicked in.

Btw can you guys just end it for me. The capital is on strike. I've never seen a city go on strike. :cry:

I don't understand. Should we not have declared war on you guys because it was pretty clear we'd win a stand-up fight? :crazyeye:

(Though as an aside - JH your Light Brigade should have stayed home where it could have hammered Sparta's stack, and Whomp's city defender stack should have headed northwest into my poorly-defended newer cities. It would have almost turned the war into a stand-up fight.)

Buddy, I am totally not taking your capital if it's filled with a bunch of malcontents and ne'er-do-wells. You keep your citizens in line, or we'll just dust off and nuke the site from orbit.

They're already on strike so I'm going to keep whipping those bastages till every citizen is angry. :whipped:

JH in hindsight, we made a grave tactical error. We should've supported BCLG and rolled these guys instead. I think he would've been more gratuitous.

And by the way all, civstats website (and notifications) appears to be down, but the game is still up - offhand I think JH and Davo still need to do their turn, and whoever's login finishes the overall turn please let everyone know here.

Im not sure, the only difference would have been id have given you more turns of peace before i went to war.

My economy was actually pretty good up until i started losing cities, not all them pop rushes were units, with quite a few being universities (philo bonus+forges got me em cheaper). I was also only a turn away from rifling when i died and three away from scientific method, rifling ended chichen itza (no more bonus on defence) and sci meth ended GL (no more reaserch) :)

also civstats is back up and working now.
 
It seems wrong to rename TheAlamo, so I won't.
